Today we process a scene from the movie Rocky! Rock is asked to fight for the title and rejects the offer at first. Then Mick, the gym trainer, comes to his house to jump on his coattails for the fight. Repeatedly is saying he could have been better if he had a manager! We touch on coaching, athletes, mentality, and more. Braking down Rocky's self-doubt, why it's there, and when it started. When our bodies or minds break down, and we ask for help, but no one answers, what do we do? Where do we go? how does it affect us moving forward, and how do we look at ourselves now that we think we weren't worth saving, supporting, coaching, or loving? Rock's anger in this scene is complex but valid and common in many of our lives. Therapy is a process; Healing is a process! Comment with your favorite parts for us.
