in this ep, we detail the kind of appropriation with south asian culture we have witnessed growing up, and why its so annoying to see. whether its within our own communities, in mainstream media, or just from passing comments we hear, deciphering cultural appropriation from cultural appreciation is something everyone has to be more critical towards. we talk about major "trends" in social media capitalizing off things like the clean girl aesthetic, bindis, headwear, and so much more. forgive the frustration you may hear in this ep cus its just the passion talking >:(
