February 18, 2022 our rocky roads towards faith and religion
in this episode, we talk about our journey towards becoming closer to our Islamic faith and religion. although we're fairly happy with where we are today, and where we see ourselves going, we don't hesitate to speak on the difficulties and frustrations we've had throughout the process. with faith and religion being forced upon us throughout our upbringings, we grew resentment and often rebelled against what we were told were morally correct, and we know this is something so many of you will relate to. talking points include teaching fear over love, tattoos, cultural interpretations, the hypocrisy, and many more. we've put off this topic for a little bit, since it is a pretty sensitive talking point for us, but we're happy we did it, for us, for you, enjoy<3

it has been ingrained in us that we have to continuously work and if we take a break, we're considered lazy or we don't deserve it. south asian culture makes us feel like you have to work until you can pay back your parents' sacrifices and guilty if you want to rest. in this episode, we talk about how we unlearned that self care is bad and how we implement our small acts of self care in our daily routines. we hope u enjoy!

December 31, 2021 our failures and new years goals
