When you are happy and grateful the world is full of opportunities. When you are focused on what is not working in your life, you will remain unhappy and unable to notice the things that do work. The law of attraction works when we see our problems as challenges to be overcome with positivity, creativity and a clear approach.
There is no doubt that human beings are willing to pursue growth and progress, but there is another evolutionary factor that determines how we act. Psychological studies suggest that even relatively simple living creatures, like snails, display a basic level of optimism. Despite the lack of intelligence, and a brain which contains less than one million neurons (compared to one billion for humans), snails tend to go towards the light, trying to find a way out of their shells when put in a dark place. This type of behavior is not being learned from experience; it is an inherent mechanism of evolution, which all life forms share. In other words, we are wired to hope for the best, even if our most basic instincts tell us that it is futile. However, we are also endowed with free will and can choose what we do and how we live our lives. That's why you should never forget to look back once in a while and notice small positive things that happen in your every day life. It will help you keep things in perspective and maintain focus on the bigger picture, regardless of how turbulent times may seem.
After you do something with 100% of your heart and soul, contribute to others, share your knowledge and experience, give advice that helps others to grow in life and/or business, you get extremely happy. Each day I am happier than I was yesterday. That's the recipe for happiness that I have discovered by practicing gratitude.
Yes, studying and working on your diploma is not only to learn new things and make a living, but also can help you build up your own personality. Therefore, being able to study what you want for the rest of your life is one of the best blessings you could ever have in your life.
