  • Tracking your digital presence and how to spot areas to work on
In today’s episode we’re talking about how to track your digital presence,
and we’ll also run you through some free tools you should use as well as a
couple of paid ones to add on if you’re getting more serious. The episode
is really just scratching the surface of what is out there, talking about
your options, but not getting too in depth and nitty gritty, so you
shouldn’t get too overwhelmed, but it’s enough for you to understand a bit
of it. If you’re just getting started, don’t feel like you need to do
everything, just start with one and suck all the insights out of it, then
    add another into the mix.

In today’s episode we’re talking about which social media platforms might be best for your brand or business.
There’s only so many hours in the day, so there’s a limit to how many you can do well. And some of the options out there might just not be the right fit for your brand. Today I want to give you a broad overview of each of the big platforms, in the hope that it will help you to decide, whether you could spend time on them, and if you currently are, whether you should really be putting time into them. • Defining your point of difference for your online business
Your point of difference is essentially the thing you use to set yourself apart from whatever competition there is on the market, whether that is specialising in something, or a particular way you deliver your product or service to your customer. Part of your point of difference might also be who you serve. It might also change over time too.

  • Brand Building Content vs Sales Content for your digital marketing calendar
Brand building content is the type of content that tells people what your brand story is, what your point of difference is, and the information around your brand, without a link to sell anything, but also no salesy language at all.
Sales content is when you’re pitching something and try to convert your people to a sale of some kind. This could also be a like my page pitch, subscribe to my email pitch, or anything like that, which isn’t a direct money exchange, but will ultimately lead to a percentage of conversion.
Listen to the episode to find out more and hear about some examples and extra tips!
    Action items this week:
Review your content calendar to make sure you have separate brand building and sales content and that your sales content is all in the right place, possibly meaning it’s not public until the person has showed some interest
Check your funnel, making sure you’re capturing people in an ad or email funnel.
