Dinner 4 Geeks

Hooo-kay, you've waited a loing time for this, and...it's probably not worth the wait, but still, it's got a lot of fun moments, like Ron's first time inside the Star Wars Battle Pod! Yes, you actually go into the Battle Pod with Ron and ride...somewhere near his crotch, I think. Best not to think about it.

Plus, you get to hear the entire trip down to Dave & Buster's, though it's reallly hard to hear, and as a bonus, we open with a recent dinner to let you know the Geeks are, in fact, still eating!

The Geeks sit in vain wiating for Jeff to return from choir practice. IN the meantime, they talk about some of their favorite topics: Tim Elliot, Ron's review of Chappie, Star Wars, the love or lack thereof of Oliver Stone, Short Circuit, THE trip to Indiana, the future of Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the Adventures of Dr. Wang!

THat's right! We're not at Celebration! But we're still paying attention to what's going on. And we're still eating dinner This dinner took place the evening the new Star Wars teaser was released. BUt first we have to talk about shaving...Wha--?!?

OKay, so we hit a few bumps on the way to episode 100. We'll explain some of them in the episode. We'll also talk about Marvel's Star Wars comics, the latest Star Wars news, we pay tribute to the late Leonard Nimoy, and we discuss an article that mentions that there are certain intense fandoms that dilike most of the material out there. Ron makes a discovery about Night Court's Ellen Foley, which leads to...Markie Post...mmm, Markie Post...oh, excuse me. Anyway, we also get into Ron's revelation. There's something he did the other day that he hasn't done in twenty years. Find out what it is in D4G number 97!

The gang discusses Jeff's recent trip to Walt Disney Word and Ryan's constant titubation. There's a little talk about Saturday Night Live history, Dinsey's upcoming Star Wars land, Kaptain Kool and the Kongs, Jeff's upcoming My Star Wars Story, and Scott's bizarre modification for the Play-Doh Fun Factory. This episode of Dinner 4 Geeks was recorded at Zachry's Seafood and Steak on 2/5/15. http://zachrys-restaurant.com

THe Geeks, minus Jeff, convene this week as ROn finally shows what's in his big box, plus the guys talk about their favorite Star Trek episodes, plus they make their predictions for surprises that will be had at Celebration in Anaheim.

After reviewing a recent review received by the D4G squad, the geeks wax nostalgic about their favorite board games.

I have no idea why, but variations on this phrase keep coming up throughout the show. This week, the geeks talk life, relationships, and old video games. Scott then begins to unspool a semi-encyclopedic knowledge of Cinemax movies, much to the other guys' horror. This episode of D4G was recorded at Zachry's Seafood and Steak on 1/8/15. http://zachrys-restaurant.comDon't forget to join us for our live tweet during our viewing of Star Wars on Blu Ray. Much like Marvel's Star Wars number 100, this episode was recorded before the last episode. IN this episode, we explain the mysterious childhood friend of Jeff's named Bey who mysteriously showed up and betrayed the Geeks last week and how he mysteriously appeared on the show.Leave it to us to make a gag that only, like, five Marvel Star Wars geeks will get for our show description. Just listen to it. It's a fun episode.
