Dire Trip

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thanks for taking time out of the holiday to watch this video. (Unless you're watching this way later. In that case, thank you as well) Black Friday is infamous for being crowded, dangerous, and quite a rip-off in the end. People have heard of injuries here and there, but I don't think a lot of people have a good idea of exactly how many deaths and injuries there have been. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support

Both within the last month, Drake Bell (of Drake and Josh) and Kyle Massee (That's So Raven / Cory in the House) have been in the news for crimes against children. A coincidence, or a sign of a growing problem? Let's check out their stories. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support

We're often told that meeting your online friends is a very bad thing to do. In this day in age, it's becoming more and more commonplace. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't exercise caution. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support

Every once in a while I come across some cases that I really want to talk about but just aren't long enough to be their own videos. So, how about we go through five of those cases? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support

Let's start off the month of Christmas one with a crazy Christmas related case. Revenge quests can bring people to all sort of outlandish conclusions, but extremely incompetent arson? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support

A young teen, aspiring to be the next zodiac killer, committed a series of crimes and sent a number of letters to the news media, taunting them. His eventual profit from the case, along with his bizarre online presence, has brought this case back into the light recently. In this next 'in full detail' case, in which I cover crimes that you may have already heard of but not in full, gruesome detail, we're going to cover Sakakibara Seito and the Kobe Child Murders. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support

When an entire family of eleven, consisting of everyone from the grandmother all the way down to the grandkids, was found deceased, dangling from the ceiling in their home, people were left in disbelief. Was it a murder? Did they do it on purpose? In reality, it was actually something even more bizarre. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support

Japan was left in shock as another horrific child on child murder took place within the country. This time, an 11 year old 6th grader attacked her friend in a classroom and left her to bleed out. After the incident, the killer became a meme, and even somewhat of an online celebrity. She's still talked about to this day, and is one of the most infamous killers in Japan's history, as well as possibly one of the most well known child killers ever, especially online. You may have even seen her around and not even noticed. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dire-trip/support
