Facing off against an angry, corrupted abominable yeti, our brave heroes are joined by a new companion, Kristrid, riding a big-horn sheep named Ovis and jumping straight into the fray. After some interesting teleportation shenanigans and the summoning of a disquieting creature that whispers horrible truths, the battle comes to a close, and our heroes introduce themselves to their new friend. They journey together to the mine in the glacier, and encounter tunnels of crystal-clear ice, full of intriguing and shifting reflections. But when one of these reflections grabs Lisette, the stage is set for another incredible fight.

Episode 11 – Into the Storm

After a night of mostly quiet rest, our heroes make their way to the local McGuffins Inc office, where they meet a series of incredibly well-named folks, and get outfitted to brave the cold weather of the storm. In the McGuffins’ infirmary, they provide a warm welcome to a cold heart, and learn about the source of the storm from a deaf dwarf. Episode 10 - The one with the Goliath fight.

Our heroes make their way out of the magical storm, and bring an unfortunately frozen dwarf along with them. They meet a tree, curious about their intentions, then find their way to Bleakspire itself, a city built on the bones of an ancient Giant fortress, where they are greeted by a very churlish inn proprietor. The only other patrons of the inn? two Goliaths who are definitely fighting in the other room. 100%, it's a fight. Nothing else is happening.

Episode 9 - Cold Comfort

 

First of all, thank you for your patience, we know that this episode is late. We took a little time off, and had a little technical difficulty, but we think that this is a really fun episode, and we hope it helps kick your new year off to a good start.  

 

Having retrieved their luggage and enlisted the services of an eager Grung assistant, our heroes get an unsettling message from Aloysious McGuffin, and make haste to leave Olmaneas as quickly as possible. Calling upon the offer of Johnny, marid patron of L. Fish Prez Lee, they travel at incredible pace through waterways, but are arrested in their travels sev eral miles away from their destination by a wall of blowing snow and howling winds. Leaving a bewildered Johnny on the shores of the river, the new Fated Five (or Four, depending upon whether or not you count Pierre) begin to trudge through the centre of this unnaturally powerful storm, fight a young Remorhaz, and find an eerie town full of a frozen populace. Oh, and let’s not forget Gloria. But you’ll need to listen to know who that is.

Episode 8 - Amusing Aquan Activities in Ollmaneas

Our party, having arrived successfully in the beautiful lake-side city of Ollamneas, find themselves in need of accommodations and distractions while they await the arrival of their luggage from the badly-damaged Peterson Passenger Liner. Directed to a unique establishment in the Flotsam region of the Sapphire City by a surprisingly quick and keen-eared fish/toad/grung person, our adventurers then partake in the delights of the “Taste of the Sea” underwater amusement park, including a rousing performance by L. Fish Prez Lee, a musician very much ahead of his time. But when an explosion interrupts the show, our heroes must once again jump to the rescue.

Having captured Maggie Grubtongue and Millie Plum, our fantastic force finds themselves in the offices of Aloysious G. McGuffin, founder and CEO of McGuffins Incorporated. With a powerful criminal family angered with them, our adventurers convince Winnie Gale to perform a spectacular show for the company, and see her safely off on tour. Family visits and private ponderings fill the day before our heroes are once again summoned to Aloysious’ office. A warning, a decoy, and some magical gifts are given out, and our Salem, Lonlin, Lisette and Cricket depart New Republica for the icy frozen south of Bleakspire.
