CONTENT WARNING This episode will contain discussions of abuse against a disabled person, and the emotional after effects of that incident. If you find discussions like that triggering, I fully understand why you might not want to listen to this episode.
In this episode, I chronicle the experience I had when I was abused by my care staff and trapped naked in my bed. We talk about the incident; what happened, how it happened, how I felt as a disabled person, etc. I share what happened when I tried to get help from both the police and medical services. I really take a deep dive into how I felt as a disabled person; what I was scared of, how I felt emasculated, etc.
This was a hard but important story to tell. Thanks for listening and letting me shine a light on it for you.

In Part 20 of Quarantine and Chill, I explain that I have been tested for Covid-19, 3 times. I explain how that happened, but I also share some of things about quarantine as a disabled person that have been hard like no access to sex, the inaccessibility of my accessible apartment, how a mask falling off and being unable to put it back on independently is a real thing, my attendant care during the pandemic, and a whole lot more.

In Episode 201, I do another in my series "What's Your Condition?" This time I look at Ehler's Danlos Syndrome. We look at the way it is understood online, what people with it refer to themselves as Zebras, and we also explore the history and behind it, as it is one of the oldest bruising and bleeding disorders ever. We discuss what cool celebrities have it, and we talk about how EDS can play a role in your sex life. Enjoy!

For the 200th episode, I thought it might be fun to rewind a little bit and go back and listen to the very first episode of Disability After Dark with you, but with some added commentary from me today. Find out how I actually recorded the first episode, why I retract my previous thoughts about access, listen to awkward transitions about candy & assholes, and listen again as I explain why "emotionality" was such an important word to me back then.
Thank you so much for listening to the past 200 episodes, and let's get comfy, cozy and crippled for 200 more Enjoy!
