A "dream" Life Story

Action, drama, and international intrigue.... everything I remember about middle school, or rather everything I wanted my life to be as a kid.

Fans of EJ12 and Nancy Drew will love this new Tween Spy Novel.

One of my favorite things to read about and I don't mind that it was a teen novel as they can be relaxing and more exciting is Teen Spies and Adventure novels. This book started off with meeting Lily Ann Germoski who has a family that often forgets about her as her parents are pre-occupied with their own lives and she has a best friend who can be a bit of a bully called Becky. She also has a scar which was a result of a bullying incident at Camp Pinewood. This summer Lily is determined to have fun with her friend Becky and not be sent to a Summer Camp. Therefore she has been intercepting the mail until one for a new Spy Camp ends up in her parents' inbox, and they sign her up. Lily attends and can't believe her eyes as it turns out that this is an actual spy training camp for a secret CIA program called T.O aka Teen Operatives. Lily doesn't believe she fits in but turns out she is a good all-rounder, and her confidence starts to grow over the course of the camp. Then come home time, and Lily has been chosen to be part of a Teen Operative team in which her favorite agents The Silmens are in charge of. What will happen though as she has to start lying to the ones she cares about and then tragedy happens and Lily starts to lose the ones she has come to care for? Can Lily balance life as a normal tween and a spy? My Not So Normal Life was a fun read, the only downside for me was it finished too quickly, and there isn't anymore in the series so far to continue with. A true MG family - fun adventure!

Omgoddess! I absolutely LOVED this gem!

The world building was a flawless storyboard and setting for a young wizard wannabe. It shows youngsters how to dream big and go for it! You never know, until you express interest and ask.

Feeling confident, Nate knows what he wants, and fumbles through hurdles and loss.

The characters become friends and their warmth flows from the book through the narrator (who was GOLDEN, too!) to the reader.

The Golden Wizard will be a timeless classic for this upcoming generation.

I'm so pleased to have added this audio to my listening library and am soo anxious for my granddaughters to get older so I can share it with them!

A thousand stars and thank yous to the authors, who gifted me with book. This review is freely given and my opinion is from the heart.

Wizardry and Adventure

I lovely story that you don't have to be a kid to enjoy! Zndaria is a great new world with well developed characters. The storyline moved along and while there was no cliffhanger, there is definitely a basis for the story to continue. I look forward to seeing what's to come!

Great engaging story for preteens

My eleven year old daughter couldnât wait for this to be released and read it within two days. Itâs a delightful story and my daughter says the best part is that it is not a traditional narrative, but rather relies on diary entries and letters. This is the third in the series The Enchanted Files and she loved each one.

Wish there were more books in the series.

"Holy Heckenlooper!"

Told from different points of view (including Ned the troll and sixth-grader Cody), this is a sweet and magical story. It's broken up nicely with different kinds of text ("official" information on trolls, Ned's diary, notes from Cody's teachers, Cody's biography project notebook and his "life log," emails, texts, messages tied to ravens, etc.)âso much fun and plenty of kid humor! It's suspenseful but not too scary for younger readers, which is refreshing. There are plenty of readers who want action and fantasy but don't want to have nightmares after reading.

TROLLED is the third in "The Enchanted Files" series. There are connections to CURSED and HATCHED, but each title can also stand on its own. As a bonus, there are subtle messages about bullying and kindness woven throughout. I'd recommend it for grades 3 through 8.

Oh, the difference the right teacher can make to a special student! Who knew that a biography assignment could change so many aspects of so many lives? (I do remember that some of my studentsâ best writing came from writing first-person narratives and then interviewing older relatives to write their stories).

Secrets, challenges, friendship, love, kindness, and courage â and very good writing â made this a most compelling canât-go-to-bed-yet reading experience. I canât give away the secrets, but laughs and a few tears resulted, and the ending was a wonderful surprise.

Utter brilliance

Maz Evans' books have become a staple for long car journeys in our family. Loved by 8 and 12 year old children and equally so by their mother! Moments of snorting laughter mixed with poignancy and all bound in a truly terrific story. Fast paced and full of unexpected twists. What more can I say? Brilliant!!
