We have today a very special guest, she is "Maa" Mother of Lyari, awarded with Sitara e Imtiaz along with many other, Founder & Chairperson of Kiran Foundation, Ms Sabina Khatri.

Sabina Khatri came to Lyari in 2004, following a case of child abuse, domestic violence and trauma. In 2006, She started Kiran Ibtedai school with 20 children and their parents.

In 2014, She registered Kiran Foundation formally and DCTO Government School was adopted.

Along with many other initiatives related to wellness of both children and parents she fought with gang war leaders of Lyari and spread peace & education in Lyari where there were killings of hundreds of people monthly.

Children traumatized from the effects of war and street crimes and where child abuse of males were not considered as serious concern she started working on it in the era when young male children were influenced by gang leaders and criminals.

She also started Kiran in Katti Pahari, Karachi recently along with soon to be started Kiran Foundation in Ghizer, Gilgit Baltistan where suicide rate of young girls is very high.

We also discussed her connection with Kaifi Khalil and his songs and how his voice reflects situation of Lyari and personal traumas.

Along with many other topics we discussed about Ehsaas and Women Empowerment and their growth and her connection with Allah and his message in Quran.
