    loved it!
loved every second! still on of my favourate sagas. wish this would be turned into film
    Brilliant
One of the best books by this author! Great story, love the development of the characters.
    superb writing and reading
Once again a great story with wonderful narration and characterisation..
listed to loads of stories but Peter Joyce is without doubt the best I have come across
trouble is I am running out of raymond e fiest books...
    Wonderful
As always great story. I just wish that Peter Joyce had taken the time to research the characters and pronounce the names of people and places properly.
    Simply brilliant
I love the way feist writes. Always leaving the details to the reader while focussing on the main points lets the listener create the image of the story in our own mind. The set piece scenes reinforce the characters development in a way that even the most despicable characters become ones that you are glad to see return in the plot.
Strongly recommend. I hope there's a tv series upcoming with these books.
The reader is great also, alternating the voices so you can easily slip into the world without having to closely follow the conversations. Great for if you are doing something which sporadically detaches your concentration from the audiobook. Definitely recommend a purchase!!!

    Great series - great entertainment!
C'mon people! Let's remember that these books are to provoke thought, lead people to examine Christ, and provide some Christian world-view entertainment.
I find it hard to believe people who say they can read this series of books and NOT be caught up in the story and the characters. Are these books the best literature ever written? WHO CARES? They're fascinating, addicting, thought-provoking, action-packed, spirit-filled fun!
The only complaint I have is the whiplash I sometimes feel by whirling back and forth between characters and their scenes. But the writing is very understandable, the dialogue believable, and the situations - given that none of this has happened yet - plausible. The storyline represents a FICTIONALIZED account of PROPHESY that has yet to take place - it's not supposed to be a roadmap! How do any of us know how these scenes will really be played out in the future? Sure, some of the characters and plot happenings are convenient ... and yes, sometimes I think there should be more Carpathians who are more technically savvy. But these books are good, addrenline-pumping, heart-stopping fun. They give you the "You Are Here" feeling.... like being inserted directly into an action-adventure movie!
Writing is a craft. The ability to write fiction and so cleverly and wonderfully weave prophesy, scripture, faith, human fraility, forgiveness, and hope together in a way that compels people to keep reading ... well, I'd call that a GREAT SERIES OF BOOKS!

    Unmatched Writing
The books in this series just get better and better. I found myself actually frightened at moments and so disturbed by what I read that I had to step back for a bit. That's a sign of excellent writing! The bad guys are so terribly bad and the evil is not candy coated. That's why it was hard for me because things said and done by the characters were very offensive. Now that is not a bad thing considering who the characters are and if this is to be true to life, then yes that evil would prevail to the point that very offensive behavior and talk would take place. One thing is clear in these books, the battle between good and evil won't be watered down in real life and it isn't here. But it is still respectful and sympathetic to the reader so no worries. All these qualities make a very exciting story. I find myself reading the books so fast I have to make myself slow down and pace myself. No point rushing a good thing. If you are thinking about reading the Left Behind Series, start at the beginning and get ready for the ride of your life.
    Thrilling...A MUST READ!
If you like suspense thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat and you just can't put down; you MUST read the "Left Behind Series" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins!
When I began reading this series my life was changed...I never could read a book and finish it before. However, Book 1, "Left Behind," started me on a road to reading. Unbelievable! I could not put the books down; and then I couldn't wait to get to the next book (you do need to read them in order so you don't get confused or lost.
The first book in the series moved a little slow for me; but after that BAM! The following books moved quickly. In fact, I was reading a book a week and that was a miracle for me because prior to starting this series I had only read one other book straight through in my lifetime.
I think what made these books even more thrilling than most is that this series is based on the truths of the Scriptures and the prophecy of the Bible. The writers, Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins, took the prophecies that point to the time we are living in now and what is to come. They layed them out in a way so that you can envision the days ahead for the planet Earth and it's people. So exciting!
I FIRST READ THESE IN THE 90'S and WOW! It's amazing to watch these prophecies unfolding in the daily events in the World around us. The reality of the media news fills our days with tradgedies and violence beyond our imaginations. The good news is that in the midst of it all, after reading these books, we can see the way to hope for a better day. I know you will not be disapointed in these books.
The MOVIE versions did not do the books justice and were a big disapointment.

The Regime: Evil Advances (Before They Were Left Behind, Book 2)
    This entire series is EXCELLENT.
Tim LaHaye & Jerry Jenkins have delved into to the Gospels of the Bible and written
the best (my opinion) fiction that is fact-based on what the Gospels teach us.
I lost my original set of the 16 books of this series when I moved to another state. I was heart-
broken to say the least. Thanks to the sellers on Amazon I have replaced every book at
    very reasonable prices.
Thank you Tim LaHaye & Jerry Jenkins for bringing this series to us. I have read several of
your books in this series at least three times. With each reading one sees more and more and
understands a lot. I also have their book "Are We Living In End Times"......this book may have
been published in 2000... but for the 27 % of the Gospels that we don't spend time to study about...
it's astonishing how much of this book reflects the world today in 2013. A MUST READ ALSO!
    100%SATISFIED!
All three of prequels are amazing!! The Rising, The Regime, & The Rapture~~all part of the Left Behind Series; page turners all! It's important to realize that these three books should be read as prequels and not in line as listed in some of the other books. Still a joy; they are much more enjoyable at the first part of the series.
The condition of my books were perfect and arrived in a very timely manner. I highly recommend the series, the purchase through Amazon, and will ABSOLUTELY be a return customer 100% satisfied.
Book #2 of the Left Behind series was hard to put down!
It's great that the authors added three books at the beginning of the series to give us a solid background of the characters and who they really are. I'm almost glad that I didn't get to read the "Left Behind" series until now. I had an opportunity years ago (when Left Behind was the first book in the series) but I didn't have access to all of the books so I guess I lost interest. Even more exciting is the fact that I am now only one book away from the rapture where the real action begins!
"The Regime" and all other books in the series are based on a religious story, which may keep some people from giving it a chance, but I cannot stress enough how great the books really are. Even though I believe in a greater power, I myself haven't stepped into a church in many years; and I've never been into books about religion.

    Chilling
I now understand some of the things with this prequel. it is a must read
Story was great but voices killed it
I had to finish this for school and I'm glad I did because the story was great, but if I wasn't obligated to I probably wouldn't have because the voices were so terrible. The main narrator was great and a joy to listen to but every character voice was so terrible. It sounded like a Spanish man was doing a bad impression of a Spanish woman. I would have rather had the main narrator do both male and female parts.

    Cute little Christmas story
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
We chose to listen to this as a family on a road trip. If you have kids who believe in Santa, do not listen to this with them! The book spills the beans and this could be traumatic to a kid who still believes.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would have used a different narrator. The story seemed a bit far fetched, too (I don't think the mother in law would really be that cruel).
How could the performance have been better?
Personally, I didn't like the voice of the narrator. She grated on my nerves a bit (sorry!).
    Any additional comments?
While we did enjoy this story, it wasn't my favorite but it was enjoyable. I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.
    This was an Enjoyable Listen
I listened to "A Christmas Miracle" and I liked it although I thought it had the potential to be much better. I like the direction the author Sandy Loyd is moving in. I like that she's a country girl as am I and I feel she's an author to watch for great things to come.
The overall story was good and I would have liked more back story and world-building. I felt that this was a glimpse into a much larger story. And whew, as far as the protagonist Megan's former mother-in-law blaming her for their loss, I was glad she finally took Kevin's advice and stood her ground. I felt there was too much of a jump ahead as far as the two of them getting together. I would have liked more in this area as far as relationship building. I liked the suspense towards the end. I thought that was good and it drew me in.
Carol Dines narration was hit and miss for me on this one. The hit was that I can hear in her tone that she has what it takes. Her tone was nice and I could listen to her again. The miss was that in a few places I felt her inflections were overly dramatic. It would also be good to just move from chapter to chapter without the title being repeated each time.
Good job ladies and I really do hope to hear more from both in the future.

    Fresh Story About Second Chances
Where does A Christmas Miracle rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
    middle
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the various characters introduced (sisters, kids, in-laws, friends). Ms Loyd is a great storyteller. I'm looking forward to hearing more from this author.
What does Carol Dines bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
At times, the narration was a bit robotic. Ms.

    Intriguing Story
Would you consider the audio edition of The Nephilim: A Monster Among Us to be better than the print version?
Having not read the print version, and not being much of a reader I was delighted to get this book on audio.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I enjoyed listening to the story every day on my ride to and from work. It made the ride interesting and I was excited each day to listen to what was going to happen next.
Which character as performed by Tom Mehesan was your favorite?
Hubcap Harkham, only because I think I could play him in the movie version of the story, LOL. Actually, Sandy was my favorite probably because he was the cornerstone of the story. It was interesting to see how the story revolves around Sandy and how important he was to the community as well as the storyline of this book.
If you could rename The Nephilim: A Monster Among Us, what would you call it?
I would not rename! The author did a great job.
    Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this book and thought that it was a great first book by this author. I hope that he continues to write books in the future.
    Awesome and entertaining!
Loved the story line! It kept me on the edge of my seat, ready for the next event to take place. The man who read the story brought each character to life! The readers mature voice gave a comforting feel, maybe as a parent reading to me or a campfire story teller. I hope that there may be a Nephilim 2 in the works
Great book from a great guy.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I myself am not much of a reader, but Danes book kept me interested. Would recommend.
What other book might you compare The Nephilim: A Monster Among Us to and why?
    Not much of a reader.
Have you listened to any of Tom Mehesans other performances before? How does this one compare?
Tom did a great job playing out the characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    Yes
    Any additional comments?
I first met Dane while hiking laurel Highlands years ago, great adventurous fella.
OK but overall disappointed. Story fades
Love the subject matter but the book lacks depth in the overall story.
