Publisher's Summary:
Why are you listening to this book? Because:
Weight loss seems simple at the outset, but the reality of the process is that it's much more difficult than many expect. Anyone can be on a low-calorie streak only to blow things with unhealthy food, at any point of the process. This difficulty is admittedly daunting - one off day can ruin several other days of hard work.
To help those interested in losing weight - and keeping it off - find success, countless products and services exist today, from supplements to exercise products and everything in-between.
For as effective as these products can be, they fail to recognize that the process of losing weight requires mental discipline to keep at its active participation. Accordingly, the key is finding consistency in the weight-loss process.

Well written, thoughtful process, if followed as instructed..you will have success...
This book is the second in the series that I've read, as promised, I sought out more by this author and was NOT disappointed. I don't know if there is a formula he follows or a personal struggle he tackles one by one, but it doesn't matter to me, the method is effective.
The design of this book is to be read in snippets each day, which is good, because this topic is a touchy one, and for some of us it's easier to read the book all the way through and judge it based on what we've ingested, not what we've done...the method is sound. Sure, there will be people that read the whole thing and don't actually DO anything, but that's not the authors' problem. It's clear that there's a passage for each day, and if you desire, rinse and repeat, time and again. Too much at once can be overwhelming and seem daunting, this bit by bit approach, is solid and effective.
My favorite part of this book was journaling, charting your progress, documenting your mood. If the plan is followed, you will see a change in your mood over the days of journaling.
The book is thoughtful and sweeps you up in the instruction with action, do this, plan that - the result should be this...and then, accountability, did you accomplish what you set out to accomplish? I'm still of the belief that this author has history in psychology. If executed as instructed, you can't come away from this challenge without having some success. It may not be weight, it could be measurements, but your body WILL change. I'm impressed easily, that's true, and you may not be - but I defy you to read this book and not find it a valuable text in goal setting, and carrying out.
Additionally, there are 8 different workouts provided in this book, a forward looking instructional for what to do in the coming weeks as well as encouragement in finding a workout that works for you. It's not that typical over-hyped self help book that supports one type of workout and acts like no others exist. I encourage you to buy this book, it may not be the be all end all to self help and weight loss for you, but the cost is cheaper than one of those nasty protein bars, and I believe, undoubtedly better for you.
Ergonomic approach to loosing weight
I am happy with reading this self - help guide. The main goal of this book is to inform and discuss the blunders of weight loss. The book provides an ample, very descriptive step by step program which is fueled by science.
