Publisher's Summary:
Are you ready to get into the adventure of Pokemon Go?
Here is the prologue.
Day 1:
The wind rushed through my feathers as I leapt from the nest for the first time. Beneath me was the target: the Weedle. I extended my wings to slow my fall, trapping the Weedle beneath my talons as I landed, leaves scattering in all directions.
The Weedle twisted to face me and aimed a poison sting at my right shoulder. I felt the shot narrowly miss the top of my wing; the shock made me jump backwards and the Weedle took his opportunity to flee, leaving a 2D grey cloud in its wake.
I could feel the blood rushing to my beak; I had let my prey get away. I turned to face my mother, Pidgeotto, who was hovering midway across the road.
Even further back was a Zubat: too far away to bother with really.
Pidgeotto gently descended down to the grass to join me, putting her wing around my shoulders. "Relax hun, we can't all win our first battles," she said. "Besides, you have great IVs and your skill in battle is determined randomly rather than from actual battle experience, so there isn't really any need to worry about failure."
I smiled. While eight of my brothers and I were all the tiniest team mythic leader Blanche had ever seen, I knew I was destined to be strong...for a Pidgey, anyway.
