Love the class. Room for small improvements

It's difficult to scrub through the play cursor. Once in a while a new word is introduced w/o them breaking down the sound so you wonder if your saying it quite right. But ip pretty pleased overall.

Learning a new language is never easy

Learning a new language is never easy however this collection definitely helps.

Hebrew was never going to be the easiest for a native English speaker but this collection has me well on he way to exceeding my expectations.

Presented in a way that really does help you understand the structure and methods for creating new phrases and not simply re-iterating what you hear.

The best

I tried a lot of courses. This method, hear and repeat is he more effective. Much more in my opinion, than other that stress in the necessity of reading and writing. This could be done later in an easier way, once you know how to say it.

Learning Russian

A good program, following the same thread as the first 3 books. My wife who is a native Russian speaker says my pronunciation is good and vocabulary is picking up well. As with my previous comments, the only improvement would be to give a bit more time to repeat as I'm often still trying to remember a word and get annoyed when the answer is given too soon.

got the guy still mumbles. The woman has perfect voice. The story is better. It'll help you more out in the country.

I good way to learn a new language

I bought these because they were on sale on Audible one day and Id always wanted to learn Russian. I listened to these on the train and though at times I napped while listening I still learned. Ive listened to this book several times and I can understand individuals speaking Russian the news. Give it a go and see what results you get.

Good for daily exercise

Essentially they are practicing a couple of situations you could run into as foreigner (e.g. Expat) in China.

They repeat often enough so that eventually words and phrases start to stick in your brain.

If there is anything to criticize: you more often practice the male in a conversation, less frequently the role of the female.

We plan to go to Poland on our holiday this year and I like to be able to say some words in Polish, it is a very difficult language because it is so different from english (or dutch) but this guide book teaches you what you will need when in Poland without me feeling a complete dummie!

I have tried a number of language learning audio courses, but I can honestly say that I found the Collins Easy Learnng Portuguese to be well structured. Offering you loads of opportunity to listen and repeat. Covers a wide range of topics from the basics of where is, how are you to ordering food and drinks. I am looking forward to a holiday in Portugal where I feel confident that I can put what I've learnt from this to use.
