Publisher's Summary:
If you are tired of dirty politicians, you could be a Libertarian!
Modern politics has become a zero sum game. You can be a Democrat, and vote for an agenda that is becoming increasingly socialistic in nature. You can be a Republican, and vote for an agenda that is intrusive in the lives of the citizenry in areas concerning privacy, personal rights and the general right to say no to demands placed upon the people by the government.
You can vote as an independent. But not only is the vote in a pool too small to elect your candidate, it steals that one vote from the guy running in one of the two dominate parties that is closest to your viewpoint.
Many people in this country will vote for one or the other of the two main parties, but have viewpoints that are more in the camp of a Libertarian view. If you support laws which increase your right to do as you want to, as long as it does not hurt anyone else, you might be a Libertarian. If you also believe that other people should be able to do what they want to as long as they do not hurt anyone, and you do not believe that you or anyone else has the right to tell them what to do, you are most likely a Libertarian!

good
Excellent introduction to understand the concept of being a libertarian. Good idea to append the constitution and amendments. I recommend this book.
I'm fascinated by the libertarian mindset.
However, absolute libertarianism seems to me to be impractical. We need to laws and control, but our current government thinks he can do everything for us. Too much so. I'd hope we could hit a happy medium, but most of our politicians are only there to get rich!
A Good Addition to My Political Library . . .
It was a quick read, and full of good information. Hopefully, it will be read by a liberal leaning
individual and will open their eyes to common sense.
Here is a better description of this book than given above.
Very, very, very, short read. Almost poetic. More or less an op-ed. Consists intuitive but not original ideas, a bit of nights thoughts. This "book" is a fair introduction to Libertarianism for those unfamiliar or mistaken.
Beyond that description, I was quit disappointed by the lack of new ideas, research to be associated, and new ideas/personal thought involved. The bulk of the pages are the US constitution.
I would recommend to an anti-libertarian zealot, who has a misconception of what a Libertarian is(or should be)
I give three stars because it is good to read, but misrepresented by its title and description (to me) leading me to by it unnecessarily.
