What's harder than having to babysit a bunch of musicians in the small town of Seaside, Oregon? Adding your ex to the mix.

She hates me. I freaking loathe her. I was stupid enough to say yes. Stupid enough to take one last chance on helping rebuild her acting career. I'm a sucker for a challenge. But I didn't expect to care....

Predictable

The book was very predictable and seemed to just say the same thing over and over. Fast forward through some chapters because it was the same as the last.

Length: 6 hrs and 50 mins

Publisher's Summary:

Marc longs for a grand romance, but he doubts he'll ever be that lucky. Then he meets Darius, an arrogant tailor who pushes all his buttons. When Darius offers him a job, Marc hesitates - he needs a direction for the future, not another man who doesn't believe in relationships.

Darius lives by a few unbreakable rules: Never sleep with employees, fashion should be simple, and romance is for fools. Marc, with his shimmery sweater collection, makes him want to break every single one.

They quickly give in to desire, but Darius wants to protect himself, and Marc refuses to repeat past mistakes. It's only when they let go of assumptions that love has a chance to take hold.

If you love Thorne and Dash you can't miss it!

This is probably the best, low angst/hot sex series I've ever read. Silvia Violet always does an amazing job with her characters and their relationships, and her creativity with the BDSM scenes is always top notch (Marc and Darius don't get as kinky as Thorne and Dash, but Darius has such a freakin' dirty mouth it adds a whole different spin to it).

Speaking of Darius' mouth - his curses are laugh-out-loud hilarious!

Truly a fantastic series, and this one is just a real treat... I'm so happy to see how Marc gets his happily ever after, he truly deserves it :)

**Also, 5 huge stars to Greg Boudreaux. He's always amazing, but outdoes himself with this series.**

Great story

Great story, plot, narrator. can be read alone. very entertaining with a happy ever after

Tailored for enjoyment

Ok, so my title was cheesy but I really enjoyed the narration and by extension, the story.

Greg Boudreaux is so talented, I loved his transition from the brusque Darius to the nicer Marc. And the love scenes - Greg certainly brings the heat

Good listen

I enjoyed this book I hope these characters get another story the need to get married

Thought it would be better.

It wasnt bad, but the whole story is kinda puched togther to fit withing the end of the second and third Thorn & Dash books, which kinda made it ruched and not as good as it could have been. And there isnt really much happening; they work, fuck and then they deside they like each other enough to date. Darius swears was funny but after a while you end up just rolling your eyes. I know this is more of a side story for Mark and Darious but I dont think it was really needed, the parts in the original series did explain pritty well what happened to them without the deeper parts. As I said, not bad but not good enought to make me love it. Think it was probably Gregs narration that really saved it. Keep up the awesome work Greg!

Title: Just Add Argyle

Subtitle: Fabric Hearts, Book 3

Author: KC Burn

Narrator: David Ross

Format: Unabridged

Length: 7 hrs and 32 mins

Language: English

Release date: 07-21-17

Publisher: Dreamspinner Press LLC

Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 21 votes

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

A Fabric Hearts story

Tate Buchanan is a troublemaker who can't keep a job, no matter how many times his lucky argyle sweater gets him hired. Add to that a learning disability and an impetuous nature that sends him into altercations to protect the defenseless, and he hardly manages to make friends, let alone find a man who's interested in him for more than one night.

Most people think EMT Jaime Escobar is a player, but the truth is he wants a serious partner - he just can't justify wasting time on guys he knows aren't a match. But when he treats a gorgeous redhead after a fight, he finds the spark he's spent so many years looking for.

Jaime wants to take the next step with Tate, but it's clear Tate's not going to curb his impulsive behavior - his next fight sends him to the hospital. Jaime's relationship with a near criminal isn't something his family is ready to accept, not any more than Tate is willing to be kept a secret. Jaime will need a lot of understanding - and some luck of his own - to keep them both. But this is one fight he's going to see through to the end.

Members Reviews:

Not my favorite narrator - great story!

I absolutely ADORED this book. It reached me at EVERY level and I couldnt read it fast enough!

I think its clear that a romance is best when the readers are invested in the characters first and foremost. Tate as a character had me by the heart right from page one. Hes scrappy, got a short fuse, a low self-esteem but the absolute biggest heart youll find.

Jaime is another amazing character who is so filled with love and also gratitude that he can literally do no wrong but this is important he doesnt come across as a goody two shoes or too perfect. Hes just a great guy.

I was surpised by the relative lack of smexy times but what we do get is very HOT and very, very sweet, too. There was enough in here that I was satisfied but Im used to more from this author and this series.

I loved the slow reveal of all of Tates secrets. It wasnt obvious nor was it hidden in a fake way. It felt very natural and I learned something, too!

If I have any complaint at all its the ending. Tate and Jaime felt so good together and the ending we get is amazingly sweet and wonderful but I did want to see them a little further down the road- specifically so I could see where Tate ends up!

Seriously, Tate is my current favorite MC and I highly recommend this book to fans of the author, fans of gingers, fans of scrappy MCs and anyone who needs a good book to warm your heart.

5 of 5 stars

Audio

David Ross has narrated all the books in this series and he does a fair job but not a good one. He doesnt sound authentic, though he definitely tries to infuse the right emotions into his voice.

The biggest thing he lacks is the proper accents this would be such a delicious audiobook if the narrator had used an Hispanic accent but David does not. His characters are not very well differentiated - though I could always tell whom was speaking.

If you couldnt read this and needed to listen, this would be a fine way to go about it, but as an addition to the book it doesnt add much.

I thought it was ok, but not great.

Just OK

This was just an average listen for me. I guess I never really liked Creed with Mia, and was actually hoping she would pick Noah!! The audio for this book was not good - there were some parts where the audio had random beeps which makes me think it wasn't edited properly or at all.

Holy Heck!

I loved the rest of Creed, Mia and Noah's story. I felt like I was a journey with them...a journey filled with heartache, misunderstanding, confusion, sadness and love. I suggest tissue and being around non judgemental people (I spoke aloud to the characters as I read). This is a journey well worth your time!

This is M. Robinson at her best! I loved it!

Have you listened to any of Marnye Young and Conner Goff s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is 100% Marnye and Conner's best performance. Individually and as a pair.

Any additional comments?

Marnye is my favorite female narrator after listening to this audiobook. Listen to that sample clip and there will be no question about it! She is flawless as Mia. F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S. I was crying during the prologue. Stop it, Marnye.

Marnye doesnt only become Mia, she emanates Mia. I have always loved her narrations, but Ends Here really showcases this quality of her voice. I could feel the glances, the touches. With every description I could see the images right in front of my eyes. Do I have voice envy? Umm yes.

Gaawd let's not even talk about the uncertainly in Marnye's voice. Those perfect inflections when Mia is scared. RUINED. ME.

I dont know what else to say other than Ends Here is a 5-star book, and Marnye is a 10-star narrator. She makes anything and everything sound good. This is her best narration yet.

-----------------------

Conner. YaaaOK this man is dangerous. I cant think of his interpretation of Creed without fanning my face. How am I supposed to explain my bizarre reaction to his voice to onlookers? What if I pass out from swooning while Im driving!?

Conners voice is tantalizing. It crescendos and decrescendos at perfect intervals. Its like Im being lured into some vocal heaven. Deep and gravely, but still sweet and pure.

While listening to Ends Here I felt like Conner and Marnye voices intermingled oh-so perfectly. They crested at the same time, their emotions tearing me to pieces. This pair created a totally epic wave that I was more than happy to drown in.

Like I said. Dangerous.

I effing LOVE Creed!!

Creed is fabulous!

I loved this audiobook!! I'm stoked that there were two narrators! I can't wait for the spinoff BUT I want to read Mason's story, BAD!!

Loved it xx

Wow fabulous the voices the story just great and can't wait for the next book El Santo will Giselle find her happy ever after with him or will it be Mason x

Title: #1 Crush

Author: T Gephart

Narrator: Grace Grant

Format: Unabridged

Length: 9 hrs and 17 mins

Language: English

Release date: 07-18-17

Publisher: Audible Studios

Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 124 votes

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

Tia Monroe was smart, sassy, and successful. Sure, she could get a little crazy at times - life around Tia was never boring - but that was part of her appeal. And while she didn't see herself as classically beautiful, she had no shortage of options in the boyfriend department. She just hadn't found one who held her interest.

Until she laid eyes on Eric Larsson, and then it was lust at first sight. He packed the perfect mix of smoldering sexy and unapologetic cool into his blond-haired, blue-eyed, ridiculously hot six-foot-four frame. One smile from him was enough to twist her insides, making her girlie bits tingle in the most delicious way. But it wasn't just his looks; he was smart and funny - charming in the most a-dork-able way.

The only problem was...

Tia had never actually met him.

Eric Larsson was one of Hollywood's hottest movie stars, rising to the top of his game and leaving a trail of disintegrated panties in his wake. Tia's were no exception - but she wasn't delusional. Love, marriage, and happily ever after were not part of her fantasy; she just wanted to meet him. Just one time. One time. Confident that just seeing him in the flesh would get him out of her system.

So, with her resolve steeled, Tia set off on a quest to make it happen while avoiding her mug shot being splayed across the five o'clock news.

The journey no doubt will make for one hell of a story.

Dead Set Laugh Out Loud Book

My first T Gephart book ever and I really enjoyed it very much, I honestly did laugh out loud on several occasions.

Grace Grant did a great job with Tia and all the other characters, my only issue was that she did make Eric sound a little dopey(speaking very slowly, word for word) on several occasions. When in fact he was funny and sexy as sin, either way I really enjoyed this very much and I look forward to more books by this author.

Cute laugh out loud story

I loved this book! I was looking for something light after finishing a dark book and this did not disappoint. This book literally had me laughing out loud. I really enjoyed the character of Tia and found her relatable (probably because I'm a bit crazy myself). Tia's journey to meet her number one crush kept me engaged the entire time. I also grew to really like some of the supporting characters (I'd love a spin off). The performance was great and Grace Grant did a fabulous job bringing Tia to life. I hope more books from this author make their way to audio.

GET IT NOW

By far, one of the funniest, cutest, sexiest and most imaginative books I've listened to or read this year!!! This isn't a simple love story. There's intrigue, hilarious dialog, fantastic characters and a plot line that gets interesting right from the start with twists and a few turns. The flow of the story was smooth. There was not one dull moment. I can't wait to dig into more books by this author. Lovely!!!

So in love

Omg first I hope the auther makes another book on Ryan and Tia best friend. this book is funny I found myself laughing hard were other ppl were looking at me funny...Tia is on Adventure to see how her first crush to prove that he is a jerk when she is sadly disappointed when she finds out he's handsome charming compassionate. However Tia meet under a lie and slow 1 lie becomes 2 and so on. Now her new crush wants 2 know her better and date becomes 2 and so on.

Excellent book

Well let's see. A well written story with strong characters and storyline. This book is about coming to reality of one's horrific past of abuse. Of forgiveness, accepting of one's past and coming to terms with it and being able to accept who you are with all the adversaries you had go through. A great love story too.

Perfect end to series

This was a very good book, a little hesitation at the beginning after first two books. I would recommend the series for enjoyable entertainment.

Never to late to follow your heart

Amazing storyline and characters. Past hurts carried become regreT burden. Forgiveness is not always easy but the only solution to finding your peace and joy.

Truly Enjoyable

This is the third book in the series and I think the best one. The characters are very real and easily relatable.

Five Stars

Love this series (set of three). I would highly recommend these books.

Members Reviews:

Hands-down best of the series!

You know what I love about Tessa Bailey? Everything. Her writing is engaging, her characters are unique, her romantic pairings are epic, and her love scenes are off-the-charts steamy. I have a particular fondness for her entire Crossing the Line series thanks to its motley crew of anti-heroes/heroines but I have to say that the final installment, Raw Redemption, claimed its spot as my new favorite of the series (sorry Bowen). Raw Redemption is a story with high stakes, pulse-pounding suspense, a blush-inducing romance, and a storyline so riveting, you'll be loath to set down your Kindle for even the briefest moment. For all of the aforementioned reasons and more, Raw Redemption by Tessa Bailey is a 5 Star, absolute must-read.

One of the reasons why Tessa Bailey is one of my go-to authors is her penchant for creating dirty-talking Alpha males with a secret romantic side. Itâs therefore appropriate that Henrik Vance is a large part of why Iâm head-over-heels in love with Raw Redemption. Whatâs not to love about a guy whoâs completely devoted to his woman, even if the woman in question hasnât gotten the memo that she is, in fact, his woman? Henrik is gruff and intimidating, no-nonsense and domineering, emitting an ever-present air of danger. Even so, heâs putty in the hands of Ailish OâKelly, the woman whoâs not only indirectly responsible for him losing his job as a homicide detective, but whoâs also the key to closing his new squadâs most recent case.

As the daughter of one of Chicagoâs biggest crime bosses, Ailish is a fascinating study of contradictions. I expected her to be hardened and tough and, while she is a strong, badass female, she also has a certain lightheartedness about her, using her quick wit and her humor to make the best of her situation. Henrik views her as someone fragile and in need of protecting, yet sheâs also amazingly resilient and independent. Hers isn't a world of black and white, right and wrong, and itâs this struggle she has within herself that I empathized with.

Gerald & Suzanne

Gerald is fierce and tortured by his past. Suzanne has her own issues and one of them is Gerald himself. A great second chance at romance for both of them.

Very Amusing

I love Julis's writing . Very entertaing and amusing.. I've read mosr of her books and now thru Audible I cann liisten and sew. Both my favorite passtimes.

Great story!

This book along with the whole series by this author was a great journey. I love the characters they are likeable and interesting. The storyline runs the gambit in emotional journeys. I especially love the humor!

My First Romantic Comedy Narrated by Sebastian

When I found out that Sebastian York was going to be narrating this book, I was over the moon! Sebastian totally nails every pun and joke in this book perfectly and I just couldn't get enough.

Really, what's not to love about this series? This book is a little different because it isn't about one of the main characters, but it perfectly rounds out the entire series. It gives you insight and a different perspective of the main characters that you wouldn't get otherwise.

First, let me start off by saying that I LOVE AGNES!!! This book is full of amazing Agnes moments that will absolutely have you laughing out loud...literally. Then you get to see a completely different side of Declan now that he is CEO of his new Coffee chain.

Ok so onto Gerald & Suzanne's story. Gerald gets this weird inheritance that causes him to face & deal with a huge decision he made 10 years ago. Gerald & Suzanne go through this journey of revelations, forgiveness & a fair share of suspense.

Julia has done it again...captured my heart & has me salivating for more of this series.

great book

great book funny with characters you can relate to. worth a second read ******

I would recommend this book to others.
