Captivating, Steamy, Sexy ~ MC Style!

Enthralled by this story and series!

Outlaw's Bride was an AWESOME story, and "ticked off" everything that makes it a great MC story. There's lots of heat, dirty talk, steamy sex scenes, entwined with a well developed plot that's full of drama, betrayal, and excellent character development, add this with the EXCELLENT narration by Mason and Tatiana, and you got one h*** of a story!

Roman and Sally started a steamy summer fling. However, when it comes to an abrupt halt after two weeks, Sally goes searching for Roman, but what she finds out, stuns her and she doesn't know if she will ever see him again. However, two years after their summer fling, she hears he is back in town and searches for him again. When she confronts Roman, he feels slightly betrayed by Sally, because she never tried to contact him during the two years he was away. He gives her the cold shoulder and sends her away, but when he learns she has been keeping a big secrete, he will do everything to make her his Old Lady and for the right reasons.

I've really enjoyed this series. It has dirty talk, steamy sex scenes, MC drama but is not over the top! I definitely recommend it to any MC Romance fan!

not sure if it's the story, the narrators or perhaps both , but I couldn't listen anymore. the dirty talk was more like "Im gona bla bla bla, babe"

I really enjoyed the story of Roman and Sally. We get to start at their beginning and get a good insight into how they started their relationship. While Roman may have been verbally denying that it was what they had his actions showed how he felt. Sally however was so innocent, she fell for Roman and fell hard. He was her one and only and she truly didn't understand his world and when he had to be silent and disappear.

Now we're back to the present and it's been two years. Two years of silence and secrets and Sally has kept a big one. This is where my only issue with Roman comes in. Yes, she did not reach out to him for the two years he was sent away but when he gets out and comes back to the club and she tries to talk to him and come clean he's an ass and doesn't even give her the chance to tell him. His pride and hurt feelings clearly get the better of him. And things get rocky for a little while, causing more hurt feelings.

There are four or five other books in this series and they're all really good. Jill Shalvis, Belle Andre, and Kristen Proby write along this style and are all equally good IMO.

What about Christina Traisters performance did you like?

She brought life to the characters and kept the book moving along verses reading in Monotone which I hate.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes but if I say what it is, it'd ruin the experience for anyone wanting to read the book.

I haven't been disappointed with any of Marie Force's books.

We're Back in Butler

The fifth book in the Abbott family Green Mountain series, this one features second daughter Ella and her longtime crush Gavin Guthrie. Gavin is the younger brother of Caleb Guthrie, Ella's sister Hannah's deceased husband who was killed in Iraq. Though the death is now seven years past Gavin still hasn't gotten past it and spends far too much time in depression, drinking and occasionally fighting in bars. It would seem that he would be a bad bet for any sort of relationship; particularly the long term type, but Ella seems determined that he's the only man for her. I've read or listened to all of the author's various series' and thus far I've found this one to be far superior to any of her others. All the books in this series are titled after Beatles songs, though I don't think I've ever heard this one. Though these books can be listened to as stand alones, they can best be appreciated if listened to in order; besides the best book in the series is the first on "All You Need Is Love."

Abbot family fun

I enjoy meeting all the Abbott family. I love he setting and characters. Maybe I'm prudish,but the relationships, while happy, seem just a bit too centered on sex.

Fantastic

This is my favorite by this author so far. It had such a range of emotions.

Blue and Lizzies love story is an interesting story. Lizzie has a HUGE secret, one that most men could not handle. Blue has his life planned out, can Lizzie fit into his life?

This is the first book in this series that there was a time that I did not like the hot, hunky, sexy male character throughout the entire book. There were times that Blue drove me crazy. He redeemed himself in grand style, but I wasnt sure if he could win me over. While I was not sure of Blue, I was sure of Lizzie and Blue. Their relationship was strong, stable, and full of love. In true Melissa Foster style you could feel their love coming right out of the pages. Even when they were having rough times there was no doubt they loved each other.

Lizzie is amazing. Even when she risked losing the man of her dreams she stayed strong. She held onto what she knew she had to do to continue helping her sister. The secret she held onto would put any relationship on shaky ground, yet she had to keep the faith that Blue would come around and learn to accept (not like) what she was doing.

Once again Melissa Foster wrote an amazing story. This is a series that is better read in order but each book is a stand-a-lone story.

Emotion that Strips You Bare

Only For Us is the third book in Harber's Only Series. You must read/ listen to them in order... and be prepared to buy one quickly after the other. This story line will keep you hooked as suspense builds, obstacles overcome and secrets are revealed. Great narration.

I also discovered Harber's other series - the Titan Group - because this is a crossover book. Can't wait to read/ listen to those also... after one more book in this series.

Book 3 is not to be missed in this series!

Only For Us is the continuation of Cristin Harber's Only Series. It is the third book in this heart-felt story about Grayson and Emma. It must be read in order and will have you diving into the last book in the series immediately. I could not put this book down and already have one-clicked the next in this series!

Cristin Harber continues to build a memorable storyline while building suspense for what is to come. As a fan of her work, I loved the cross-over connection to the Titan Group. True to form she makes you feel ever emotion her characters experience.

PS- The audio version of this book only enhanced Cristin's brilliance as an author. Jeffrey Kafer and Xe Sands did a fantastic job of narrating this incredible series.

Both the hero and the heroine. I was so engrossed in the facets of their characters that I cannot choose a favorite. Both narrators were great, adding so much to the story.

and again we have a heroin t hat has suffered from some tragic event that has changed her..

supposedly she is sacred to love and be loved. Well so what! that is how much I disliked the heroin. and if she wasn't crying or having inter dialogue about why she she was scared. .there wouldn't be a story. the hero was ok just very pursuant on having the heroin. .don't know why because she was never receptive. I guess the death of her 1st husband was in part the reason..but never got that..

It says a lot about a book if you can skip chapters damn near most of the book and still didn't miss a thing..and again this is because all the heroin musings & inter dialogue. .

in the end of course they got their HEA. . ok now some sarcasm who would have guessed never saw that coming in the end the whole book was about self pity I just couldn't take it I would not recommend this book in my opinion to anyone .

I freaking loved Liam! The lengths this man goes to. Gah! All the swoonage. I love how Harper writes these amazing alpha men and the women who take them on. Fierce and flawless.

Great love story about second chances

This is a romantic, erotic love story.

Liam and Megan's story, which is part is attached to the Dee and Beck story from Beck: Corps Security, Book 3.

If you read Unexpected Fate: Hope Town, Book 1 you already have an idea who Megan is, she is the widow of a solder and she is an author. She has a 5 year old daughter which can wrap up any alpha male around her pinkie finger. Between tea parties with the princess of all alpha male Megan find herself feeling again. Only "LiLi" can come up with a plan and have the entire Corp. crew help out including Molly, the princess.

Liam has loved Megan since the moment her laid on on her, waiting and devising a plan to finally get her to feel, he not only helps Megan learn to live life again but to let go of the past and find a future with him.

I have to say my favorite scene is when Liam takes Megan muddying.

I love how Harper Sloan is intertwining the Corps. stories into her new series. I am not sure any other author has done this before but it is a great concept and is working for her. Looking forward to the rest of the stories.

Return To You (Montgomery Brothers Book 4) by Samantha Chase

Wowzer! Samantha Chase just really knows how to bring it. She has a writing style you can just fall in love with. In every book, she writes you can clearly see and believe the struggles her characters go through. This book is no exception.

In Return to You, Samantha introduces us to Selena Ainsley and James Montgomery. Selena and James knew each other when they were younger. They had their whole life planned out before them. Then in a blink of an eye tragedy strikes and tears them apart. Ten years later Selena comes back to town as the high school reunion planner. Once James and Selena see each other again things heat up.

I really enjoyed Return to You. I found the struggles in this book to be very realistic. I really loved Selena and James. I also loved the secondary characters in this book. I found myself laughing and even crying. There was even a slight mystery and I loved that. I loved the chemistry that Selena and James have for one another. This book has all the elements you need in a great read. There was passion, romance, a bit of drama and all that in one story makes for a great read. I found myself reading this book entirely in one sitting.

I highly recommend this book. This is a great addition to the Montgomery Brothers series. This is a must read for all book lovers. I give this 2 thumbs up and 5 stars. A must read.

A very sweet romance. Two young people, one a high school Senior, Selena and the other a young 21 year old James, who is determined to make it on his own, find themselves pregnant. The girls family, especially her father is totally against James, who he doesn't feel is good enough for his daughter. Selena is driving to see her best friend Jen when a driver runs a red light and Selena is taken to the hospital with terrible injures and in the end loses their baby. Her father refuses to let James see her and James leaves never speaking to her again. Coming back to the place of her birth for a 10 year class reunion has her worried that she will see her old love, but takes the chance anyway to be a part of her best friend Jen's plans for the class reunion. The rest is history, as they say.

James and Selena Stole my Heart!

This book absolutely stole my heart. Right from the beginning.

I LOVE books where the hero and heroine have a past. A history. Selena and James have a long one. They were sweethearts. Had everything planned out. And then tragedy strikes and tears them apart.

Selena is back home to help plan their reunion, and the two of them are put back together again. Things are hot hot hot with them, but are they willing to face their past in order to move forward? Will doing this tear them apart instead?

This book was so emotional and had me by the heartstrings throughout.

This book was definitely lacking. The hero was great. The heroine a totally self involved victim. Ughhh. And I can only think of one other narrator I like less than this one. He barely had any range between characters and his intonations seemed ridiculous. I am requesting a refund.
