    Publisher's Summary:
Meet Hawk Renyolds. Hawk is the hottest tattooist in the city, and not just because he's a terrific artist and knows how to use the needles to turn skin into art. He's panty-melting hot thanks to his sexy smile, tattooed sleeves, and a body that incites fantasies. Plenty of women come to the shop just to let him put his skilled hands on their bodies, but none of them ever come close to touching his heart. Until the day a regular shows up with her bestie, Joy, in tow.
Joy's a shy and intelligent blonde who has no idea just how beautiful she is, and she's not really interested in getting a tattoo. But she is interested in the art she sees on the walls, and the bad-boy tattooist who drew it. Joy's been burned before by men who just wanted to date her because her father is billionaire Terry Reed. She's determined to never be used that way again, but as her steamy relationship with Hawk turns into something meaningful, she begins to wonder if she's the user.
Hawk tells her there's one thing he won't put up with: lying. And she's already lied about who she is.
For mature audiences only. There are adult situations, but this is a love story, not erotica (just hot 'n' steamy!)

The story was so so. Some awkward writing only made worse by the horrible narration! The narrator's voice was soooo wrong for this book I could barely push through! Had it been any longer I would have given up!

    The billionaires Mistress
this was a good sires! I believe it was 5 book placed all together. It reads as one whole book, so i am not to sure on how many books it is total. I was to envoled in the story.
The story is great. I love the story line of I really am not in love with this person, I want to marry this person, but for some reason or anther I cant.
This story has a ton of twists and turns. its not straight forward as you would think. it totally makes it interesting!
I would love to spell the plot line, I am not big on giving spoilers. but i will say it does seem that everyone is some how everyone is connected in this story. hold on tight, because things are about to get interesting!
I loved the character development! but ne thing i was not happy with was the Narrator. I found that odd, because she is the writer of the book! But sadly it was more like she was just reading the story. it was VERY hard to tell who was saying what. or what character was even talking. such a bummer. it is a good book, I am just not happy with the narration.
I was gratefully provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator for an unbiased review via Audio Boo
    Great Story
Loved the story but the narration was poor. Would have enjoyed it more if someone else had read the book.
    Complete torture
The person reading the book is monotone there is no emotion no feelings nothing!! I am not even done with the book yet and I am struggling to keep at it since I paid for it. If only I could get a refund!!!!!! As for the storyline, it's ok a bit slow but with the person reading it she is killing my eardrums!!
The narrator took so much away from the story.
I never actually write reviews but this narrator was so had to listen to. The pauses were off, couldn't tell who was speaking , and names and pronunciations kept changing
    Great story, BAD reader
The story kept my attention, but MS Park should kept to writing....NOT NARRATING. The narration made the story very hard to follow.

Lovers don't finally meet somewhere, they're in each other all along. -Rumi
It starts out so simply. Anna runs away to Thailand, drags her best friend Dante with her and spends a few weeks away, taking on other people's problems while getting away from her own. She meets the enigmatic Jude Grayson, and for as long as it's clear to both of them that it ends when they leave, she thinks she's got the perfect fling planned out.
    Or does she?
Anna returns home to find that her life is no longer the way it once was, and that she can't stop thinking about him. She learns through tragedy that nothing she's ever believed in has turned out to be true. The worst part? The people she loved were keeping a secret from her. And that no matter what she does, no matter how hard she fights against it, every path she takes keeps leading her back to Jude.
This is a story about love, found in a faraway place by two very unlikely people. It is also a story about friendship and loyalty and fighting for what you have despite the illogical mystery of fate. With the struggle between morality and guilt, faith and acceptance, there comes a learning that even the best-laid plans are powerless against the alignment of the universe.
From the beaches of Thailand to the streets of New York, three friends, Anna, Dante, and Jude will learn the hard way that once providence steps in, there is nothing in the world that can change what is truly meant to be.

    An OK read
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
    3.5 Stars
This was my first audible read so i'm not sure if that effected my rating of the book or if it would be the same. I didn't really connect with the characters or story. Anna was really annoying most of the book to me. This might have something to do with the narrators voice though. I also had a hard time keeping track of what was going on. the POV changed half way and i didn't realize which was confusing. I felt like the scenes jumped around with no good transistions. there was one part where i didn't even know they were in a entirely different country until half way through. Again, this may just be because this was my first time listening to a book on audible.
    *******MAJOR SPOILERS*************
The rest of the review is spoilery and I rant a little lol. I felt like Anna was so back and forth throughout the whole book. I liked Jude up until part 2, when we found out he basically stalked Anna for 5 years through Dante but never went to her (even though her mother just died and she was super depressed and missing him). I think it was BS that he kept tabs on her but never approached her until she ran into him at his church 5 years later. Then all of a sudden he "can't stay away" and loves her so much. Then he's going to have the nerve to be pissed at her because she's moved on with her life and married Dante. Them being separated for 5 years was stupid. Jude was a dick for not contacting her. And Anna should have just looked him up. She knew they both lived in NYC. Shit they even went to the same college! It's not hard to google him and find out his contact information.... I also didn't like that Anna and Jude slept together even though she was married.

I love it when the guy screws up but you have the women chasing after him over and over. Just give me a break. It's like we are to find it romantic that the guys misses up, drinks, says mean things and cheats but we stupid weak women with no self respect chase after these guys.
Yes and thank the women who was taken in you boyfriends women, really door mat.
Love how her friends warn her but then they go and screw the other members of the band.
For someone who doesnât like reading bad boy/good girl tropes
For someone who doesnât like reading bad boy/good girl tropes, I seem to be reading a lot of them lately. I donât even know why I picked up a copy of Take Me for Granted. The synopsis was one I have read a thousand times and the cover was nothing eye catching.
But let me tell you I am sure glad I did. If downloading it was whim then I donât even know what opening it up was. I was hooked from the very first page though. I identified with Ari more than most female leads. While I didnât grow up in a rich family nor do I attend an Ivy League school, I care more about schoolwork than I do most people. Reading Ariâs inner monologues and thoughts had me laughing because I understood. Itâs so easy to push people away, create a cold demeanor, and escape into school work. School doesnât hurt you the way people can.
Grant was also absolutely charming. He reminds me so much of my own fiancé in ways and I loved listening to him banter with Ari. At first, his pushiness rubbed me the wrong way. Having been in an abusive relationship, I wanted so much to just scream no in his face over and over again until he understood. However, he wasnât actually harmful in his pushiness, just persistent, and, honestly, had the patience of saint when it came to Ari considering how wishy washy she was at times.
I really enjoyed the story. Linde has a lovely, easy style and is a fantastic storyteller. I especially liked being able to read from both Grant's and Ari's POVs. The cliffhanger nearly destroyed me though, so you better believe I am going to continue the series. Somehow Lindeâs characters crawled their way beneath my skin, and I wonât be content until I know they received a happy ending.
Not my favorite from KA Linde
I waited to write this review since I joined the Take Me With You blog tour.

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Nashoda Rose
Love is ugly, and secrets will destroy you.
    Kat
    I don't beg. I don't cry. And I don't give second chances.
Ream, the lead guitarist of the rock band Tear Asunder, deserves a gold medal for best dick move ever when he ran the moment he discovered my secret after two days of hot sex. Then he brought some chick to my coming home from the hospital party - after being shot. I hate him.
    Until...
Ream's six-foot-two frame unfolded out of the car after being gone on tour for eight months. I stared. And, in my defense, any girl would stare. It would almost be rude not to, because Ream was the type of guy who stood out. Not because he was loud and obnoxious. No, it was because he was the complete opposite. Subtle and dangerously quiet. If he spoke you'd better hope he liked you, because otherwise you'd be falling at his feet begging for mercy.
    Except me...
I don't beg - ever. But when our eyes locked, it was Ream's steady confidence that had my nerves shooting off like jet sprinklers. Then...
Ream told me he didn't need a second chance, because he was still working on his first.
    Ream
Sex is ugly. It's using someone for your own narcissistic pleasure. I did it, but hated it - until her. She was unexpected. Then I had to wreck our beginning with my screwed up past. I don't deserve her, but I'm selfish, and I'm taking her anyway. This is who I am, and it's too late to change me.
    For mature audiences, 18+.

    HERE KIT-KAT
Kat is Emily's, from book 1, best friend. While Emily and Logan are away Kat and Ream work together on the horse farm and become friends and hookup for a weekend. Ream doesn't do repeats and he never let's a woman suck him. He does all this with Kat and wonders what is so different about her. He starts thinking he can make her bend to his will. Ream believes there's an ease between them they click.
When Kat goes to the bathroom Ream enters a few minutes later and catches Kat with a syringe. He thinks she's shooting up illegal drugs and blows up. Kat explains to him she has a medical condition that she keeps hide from her friends.
Ream grew up with a drug addict mother, no father. Ream's past interferes with his thoughts of a possible relationship with Kat.
This book delves into Ream's past. There's a shooting and kidnapping. Lot's of twists, turns, excitement and suspense.
J.F. Harding and Kate Russell give a great performance.
Absolutely with a credit or $$.
    Good storyline!
This audiobook is one in a series that should really be listened to in order, so that you can get the most out of them. I listened to book 3 first and it was confusing. Now that I've gone back and heard them in order they are much more enjoyable. Still it's a great series! The narration bothered me a little. You don't hear the male narrator very much and when the female narrator does a male voice it sounds very close to the female voice. That's really my only drawback to this audiobook, as the story is very captivating.
    Intense
If you want something to really move your soul, give this book a listen to. The topics discussed in this entire series may be hard for some to listen to but they r real.

    Before There were Three
What can I say. I don't think L.A. Witt has ever written a bad book, lol. This one included.
It was good to see how Ethan and Rhett's story started. This book precedes The Distance Between us, which is the full story of their life after years of being together. I did like knowing how their story starts but I'm not quite sure it's actually needed, since book one is great by itself. I also did read the entire series before actually getting to this book. But overall this story was well written just like the others.
The Audio was good, I don't think I have listened to one of Charlie David's narrations before? But I think he did a pretty great job with this one. Really made these characters story more likeable for me.

    Pass on this one!
I like smart, interesting main characters. India Summers may not be as stupid as she acts but I had to fast forward through the part in which she and Rod Amos were out to catch a murderer. Yikes! I like the Amos family but this was my least favorite book in the series.
    great
    Any additional comments?
Another great book by Brenda Novak. Can't wait for the next book in this series. I would recommend this book. I own several books from this author and I would recommend many of her books to anyone.
I won a paperback copy off of Goodreads from Harlequin Books and I bought the audiobook.

What was most disappointing about Brenda Novaks story?
Surely the author is better than this - very light
How could the performance have been better?

You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
    Better believable characters

    Publisher's Summary:
Tobias "Slim" Jackson has the perfect life as a pilot on Gansett Island in the summer and in Florida in the winter. He's happiest when he's in the air, or at least that was the case before last summer when he met Erin Barton, Gansett Island's newest lighthouse keeper. Now he can't seem to find his usual enthusiasm for flying, winter in the sunny South, or anything that doesn't include her.
Erin has been stuck on pause since she lost her twin brother. She'll tell you herself that her life has been a hot mess since Toby died. After dropping out of law school, she's flitted from one pointless job to another, existing rather than truly living. Then she comes to Gansett Island to take over as the new lighthouse keeper and meets Slim, who happens to share her beloved brother's first name. That small coincidence is enough to convince Erin that she needs to spend more time with the dashing pilot - except for the fact that he's spending the winter more than a thousand miles from her.
Now Slim's come home to Gansett for the holidays and to hopefully pick up where he left off with Erin. He's got 12 days before he's due back in Florida to finish out the remainder of his winter obligations. A lot can happen in 12 days, but will it be enough to convince Erin that it's time to start truly living again?
Listen to Slim and Erin's story, and catch up with the rest of the Gansett Island cast in Desire After Dark!
    Members Reviews:
Narrator made it hard to enjoy the book
Would you consider the audio edition of Desire After Dark to be better than the print version?
In this case, no. I can do better voice nuances in my head than this narrator.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
She was terrible at making distinctive voice changes for the different characters, especially the males. For Slim, she made him sound like he had a cold and sometimes slurred his speech.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    For the story, yes.
    Any additional comments?
I am disappointed that Ms. Force used a different narrator. I hope for the next one she goes back to one's from the past. If she uses this one again, I will buy the hard copy and read it instead.
    Great Audible
Two characters, tragedy in both lifes that has, them giving up on love early in their lives. the healing Magic of Gansett Island brings you tears laughter and Love. you will truly enjoy listening to the adventures as you feel each emotion unfold. The McCarthys keep you will entertained
    Male voice broken
I love the storyline of all of her books and am so glad to be back on Gansett Island! However I had a very hard time listening to this because the narrator kept making Slim's voice sound like he was hoarse! I kept waiting for a reason was he sick, did he lose his voice a tonsillectomy by chance? It was unfortunate. But still a good book.
    Need a different narrator
If you could sum up Desire After Dark in three words, what would they be?
Love the series and characters, hate the narrators chosen.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Desire After Dark?
Erin's struggle with OCD and loss of her twin.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Joan Delaware?
There are more mature and versatile narrators like the ones used in the Green Mountain series.

Neither Myla nor Kai would have thought that something that started off as a farce would become the most important thing either of them could have ever done.

I reallllly liked this book vs the first book. The characters were more mature and acted as adults and not teenagers. Dont get me wrong I dont mind a good YA novel or even New Adult but when you have 25 and up you want them to be a little more mature...
So yes this book was what I had hoped the first one would have been like. I am all swoony over Kai, I am telling you who wouldnt what a man thats sole reason is to protect you and not only that but makes you feel like you are the most and only beautiful thing to ever grace his presence.
I loved the connection between Myla and Kai it wasnt instant but you could tell they were drawn to each other.
I will say I did find the story to be a little choppy. Whether that was deliberate or if the writer just wants the story to move along so that it wasnt too long or what, I wasnt a fan of that. I would rather have a longer book with more details then to feel like youre missing chunks of the story.
Loved the narration two of my favorite narrators right here, they do a great job. Again Kai... Man what a fantastic character.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
    Loved Kai and Myla!
I always find great enjoyment reading a book by Aurora Rose Reynolds, and I know it may not always work for everyone with the instalove factor, alpha heroes and some cheesy eye roll moments but that's precisely what I love about her books because she does it SO well!! I loved that Kai and Myla had a childhood connection, and like a dark angel, he has been watching over her. I loved how OTT protective Kai was with Myla yet so brutal to his enemies.
I listened to the audiobook and loved Lidia Dornet and Sebastian York together!
    Good story
I have to admit that I found the story a bit confusing in the beginning, but gradually I came to figure out the plot. Maybe s little better backstory on how the two main characters knew each other? Overall a decent audiobook.
    Least Favorite of the 3
Great Narration. However, this was another that was hard for me to follow and made me wish I'd read previous series first. I never really understood what happened to Myla's parents or why or why Myla didn't give up her adoptive brother. Or even why Kai was there when Myla was needing saved. Kai was WAY too secretive for my liking. I'm not a fan of the alpha males that leave their women constantly guessing. This was probably my least favorite of the 3 books.
    ALL OVER THE PLACE
Struggle to finsh it. This story was all over the place. To me it was confusing.
