    Title: The Tiger's Baby
    Subtitle: A Paranormal Pregnancy Romance
    Author: Jade White
    Narrator: Sally Sanders
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 3 hrs and 36 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 11-20-15
    Publisher: SimplyShifters.com
Ratings: 3.5 of 5 out of 12 votes
    Genres: Romance, Fantasy
    Publisher's Summary:
There is one thing that Kristen has always wanted in her life and that is a baby.
However, being a female tiger shifter makes this task very difficult, since she can only mate with other tigers, and finding one is not easy.
But now the time has come.
She has been matched with a fellow tiger shifter named Rodney who is set to be her mate and provide her with the one thing she has always wanted.
Now she must make the journey to go and meet this man for the first time and begin the mating process. But will she really be able to mate with a complete stranger? And will this pregnancy really be as straightforward as she hopes?

I'm in a sad place here.
I love tigers. I love babies. I love shifters. And I love British Columbia. What could possibly go wrong here?
There is something I get itchy pants about and it is over-sentimentality of heroes in novels. What I'm saying is that if your main man cries more than a pregnant woman or a toddler he is not my book boyfriend. I won't lie and say that the book cover didn't do some of the selling of this novel for me because this guy does not look like a sad Sally. It may be a case of this book looks like a nice vacation site but the stay is flat out underwhelming.
Kristen is a kitten who needs a man of her own kind that can make her purr in the sack. In this shifter book it throws in the caveat that people mate with people, wolves mate with wolves, and tigers make babies with other tigers. That is nice IMO; I'm partial to it because I get distracted when I am stuck wondering about the genetic volubility of a pairing. Like what does a bunny and alligator offspring would look like, you don't know how many times I tried to visualise iguanas with floppy ears and button butts from the strange crossbreed shifter novels. Jade White made the logical plot choice and I really liked that. That is what gives this novel 2 stars.
The story itself was overburdened with this weepy melodrama in a way that was cloying. The suspense lost something because there was a lack of that strong alpha male persona that gives a good book a back bone.

    Title: Hare Today Bear Tomorrow
Subtitle: Mating Call Dating Agency Book 1

    Narrator: Pepper Laramie
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 2 hrs and 38 mins
    Language: English

    Publisher's Summary:
Fate is nice and all, but in the busy worlds of journalism and professional wrestling, sometimes a rabbit needs a hand, and a bear needs a place to grab.
Garnet Pendleton is a freelance journalist, and moonlighting as a librarian gets the bills paid, but barely. It's a busy life, but it's hers. Lately though, she's felt like something was...lacking. With her life absorbed in pounding pavement and wrestling with the Dewey decimal system, Garnet hasn't had time for something she's starting to get REALLY edgy over - finding a mate.
Stacy Graves's entire life has been lived in a ring. He's big, muscled up, and can bodyslam and headlock with the best of 'em. But he's also not getting any younger. Stacy's mind is starting to drift in the middle of matches. Instead of being worried about pinning his opponent, he can't stop thinking about settling down and finding himself a mate.
Will Garnet's journalistic drive for truth and Stacy's life on the road be too much of an obstacle for them to overcome in the name of love? With mating experts Yvette and Dora on the case, Garnet and Stacy just might stand a chance.

    I loved it.
What can I say. It's one of the most adorable and funny stories I had the pleasure of listening to. I love everything about it. it too hilarious from start to finish.
    Worth The Second Look
I saw this book a while ago, but I had work to do so I held off. While scrolling through my wishlist I came upon this book thumbnail and my heart had the same pitter-pat reaction. That sealed the deal.
Stacy, a huge, mouthwatering, bear shifter isn't as charismatic with the ladies as most would think and is quite the nerd for a successful wrestler. He's feeling that mating urge and receives a tip about the Mating Call Dating Agency.
Garnet the librarian moon-shining journalist is hoping for a mate, but isn't interested in becoming anyone's constantly barefoot and pregnant spouse. She wants someone she can share an adventurous life with.
These two were meant for each other and I loved being able to experience their wishes, insecurities, hopes, longing and finally their first date.
I didn't know how Lynn Red was going to get all of the emotions I needed to feel satisfied by a full story in 2 hours and 38 minutes but she did and I am satisfied.
Pepper Laramie's timing was outstanding. I loved her voices and interpretation of Garnet's snarkiness. She made a already humorous book funnier.
    bummed out
Has Hare Today Bear Tomorrow turned you off from other books in this genre?
not the genre but in this series if the same narrator
Would you be willing to try another one of Pepper Laramies performances?

A fun swashbuckling book, actually half a book.
    4/5; 4 stars; A-
I really enjoyed this book and its second half, Twice a Prince. In fact, this review will be encompassing both books, with the only difference being my impressions of the two different narrators. I don't think a person should read Once a Princess as a standalone unless they want to be quite disappointed because its really the first half of a bigger book.
I must thank Sherwood Smith for giving me the chance to listen to both of these audiobooks by generously offering me Audible codes.
I really liked the female characters in these books. They had guts and integrity as well as ingenuity and loyalty. For most of the story, Sasha and her mom, Sun, each have their own adventure and challenges, even though they are heading in the same direction. The POV varies back and forth between them.
Sasha was an admirable young woman, in that she had taken her self defense lessons in her youth seriously, knowing some day she might really need to use them. But at the same time, she embraced her life in the U.S. and didn't sit around thinking 'oh, one day I'm going to be princess so I am better than everyone else'. When she was sucked back into the realm of her birth, she was everything she needed to be; smart, resourceful, cautious and determined. And she had ample opportunity to put her self defense training to good use. Fun sword fights and swashbuckling ensued. Despite all the action, I liked that she never lost sight of her goal of finding her father.
Sun had a bit of a trickier time pursuing her goals since she was a prisoner for much of the book, however, when the opportunity arose, she found her own way to rouse the kingdom against the bad guys and seek out her lost husband. I had a chuckle at her struggles with hot flashes. Its such an annoying fact of life that half the population deals with yet it rarely gets factored into character development. Hats off to the author for that one.
I really enjoyed Prince Jehan and the pirate Zathdar. Quite a bit of the humor of the story was woven into these characters. (view spoiler)
Most of the other main characters in the story were various members of the 'bad guys' but they were painted with enough depth to make them interesting and even sympathetic to some degree.

I really enjoyed Prince Jehan and the pirate Zathdar. Quite a bit of the humor of the story was woven into these characters. It became clear fairly early in the first half of the book that the courage, ingenuity, and purpose of both could make them none other than the same person. i enjoyed Jehan's 'deep game'. Even though he was such a strong and intelligent character, near the end of the second book, his vulnerabilities and youth showed through.

As a spirit shaman, it's my responsibility to drive the dead back to their graves because around Whisper Hollow, people - and secrets - don't always stay buried.

With the help of my mysterious neighbor, Bryan, we begin to unravel the mystery of her disappearance and in doing so unearth a dark force seeking to bury Whisper Hollow. Great Debut
I don't really care for the Other world Series but I loved the Indigo Court series and now this one. This characters were in a believable world with realistic situations and feelings. The story and mythology are creative and entertaining. I look forward to the next book in this series.
The first book I've bought by Yasmine Galenorn!
Looooooooooooved it! I'm now an addict! Cassandra Campbell dis a fantastic job! And Yasmine is an excellent storyteller. I want to move to Whisper Hollow ASAP!
    Loved the book
Loved the book. Only reason I gave 4 stars was narrator made some characters a little breathy for my taste. Otherwise, great book!
    Amazing
I absolutely adore this book. I've read it many times. Recommend her to everyone. Yes.
    Expected for galenorn
Would you consider the audio edition of Autumn Thorns to be better than the print version?
    Probably
If youve listened to books by Yasmine Galenorn before, how does this one compare?
Similar but with a new subject and characters
What aspect of Cassandra Campbells performance would you have changed?
Same problem as always with her mispronounced words but able to get past it
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
    Not so much

    Publisher's Summary:
Humans aren't as alone as they choose to believe. Every human possesses a trait of supernatural that lays dormant within their genetic makeup. Centuries of diluting and breeding have allowed humans to think they are alone and untouched by magic. But what happens when something changes?
Ambrose Griffin is older than most, if not all, civilizations. As each year passes, he submerses himself into his training, only relaxing around his protégée and friend, Shade. After losing his wife and children in the last Angelic Wars, he guards his heart and has no desire to share it with another.
Bookkeeper and romance novel enthusiast, Jamie Bennett dreams of being swept off her feet by a white knight. However, her life is no romance book. Since meeting Ambrose - a sexy, delicious angel - she's been twisted inside out and doesn't know why. Things are happening that she can't control, and now her life is in danger.
Balin Drake is stuck in hell, literally. His life of refusing to take souls, even though it's part of his demon nature, has caught up with him. He's dying and now must search for his true half, but even a mate may not save him. When he meets the two people who could fill that part, he'll need to fight for something he hasn't felt in over a century: hope.
Warning: Contains a rigid angel who needs a certain sexy woman to help him unwind, a book keeper who finds herself the creamy center of the best cookie ever, and a demon who has a certain taste for pressing them both against walls.

    narrator
I enjoyed this book but the narrator he does too much and almost all the characters sound the same.
When the narrator reads it's almost like a sing-song voice going through it's very irritating. I had a hard time getting through the book, I love the plot and characters but the narrator and we need to do something about him.
    What a hot fabulous book
I wouldn't mind being sandwiched between angel and a hot demon. This storie was a good listen from the beginning to the end. The narrator was great, This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.
    4.5 Stars
Carrie Ann Ryan entices, temps and makes the reader melt with the amount of heart and heat in Her Warriors Three Wishes.
Her Warriors Three Wishes is my favorite Dantes Circle series book. I am also a sucker for a good ménage. I love Balin. Hes a rebel among his kind. He also had this innocent nature with his naughty ways. I found him unique. Ambrose had it all and it was taken away. Making him reserved and even coming off as a bit of an ass. Jamie puts herself out there and doesnt give up. Even when her true nature is revealed she keeps her head high.
Carrie Ann Ryan puts the reader in the middle with an angel on the left, a demon on the right and theyre both talking dirty in your ears. Holy hotness. Gregory Salinas sultry narration takes readers on this sexy and suspenseful, fast paced story that will have your ears turning red. I love the combination of all the different paranormal elements. The characters are fun, feisty, and well developed. Her Warriors Three Wishes is a wickedly naughty listen.
Still my favorite series by far
Dante's Circle is by far my favorite series by Carrie Ann Ryan.

    surprisingly good!
Very well written book. Had my full attention throughout the journey. my only dislike had to be the lack of confidence and ensuing misunderstandings
The Choosing - slow not bad, but slow.
Would you try another book from Lucy Varna and/or Angel Clark and Matthew Josdal ?
Yeah I would, I loved her story line, however, it needed to pep it up some. I got half way through the book and stopped. I read 3 other books and then came back to this one. Again, I liked the story line, just that there were very slow spots.
If youve listened to books by Lucy Varna before, how does this one compare?
I have not, this was my first story.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Interesting, I think the narrator was fine, but could have also been a little more peppy. Again, very seldom do I start a book and stop in the middle. I almost wasn't going to finish, but I came back and did. It was a good story, just slow.
Did The Choosing inspire you to do anything?
No, only to give it a rest - read 3 more exciting books with a faster pace.
    Any additional comments?
I hate to give negative reviews. I really liked this story when I finally finished it. I did like the characters but the pace was just too slow. An author has to keep the reader's mind engaged. Again I loved the story. I don't want to be negative. So please Lucy Varna don't feel bad. Just speed up some of the story-line in the future.
    What a phenomenal book!!
This is definitely not your traditional love story. But it is so much better!! Ren was the perfect gentleman and I'm truly happy that he and Ziri were there for one another.
