Jim Ross has given us the magic before, in his books, Scattered Reflections and A Plea to a Wine Cork. He now works his wizardry in this powerful, popular form.

Title: Combat Medic Poetry

Author: Patrick Thibeault

Narrator: Alan Wade

Format: Unabridged

Length: 49 mins

Language: English

Release date: 09-29-16

Publisher: Patrick Thibeault

Genres: Drama & Poetry, Poetry

Publisher's Summary:

Combat Poetry was inspired by the experiences of a combat medic who experienced war both as a teenager and again as a seasoned combat veteran.

Why would a combat medic want to write poetry? The poetry was in me and it had to come out. These thoughts were always in my head and on the tip of my tongue. I had to write this poetry for the sake of my own sanity.

I wanted to share my experience and my interpretation of my experience through the poetic word. Some of the poems are sad, some of the poems are a little bit goofy. Some of the poems are happy and a few of them are a little bitter. These poems are important as they reflect a warrior healer's soul.

My previous book is called My Journey as a Combat Medic and my website is at medicstory.com.

Confused

I was confused by this at first had to listen to it 3 times before I realized it was a poem. I always try to put myself in the shoes of the subject to understand what they are feeling but there was no time to do that with this.

I received this free for an honest review.
