Format: Unabridged

Spieldauer: 1 hr and 7 mins

Sprache: Deutsch

Veröffentlichungsdatum: 07-06-16

Herausgeber: SWR Edition

Kategorien: Drama & Poetry, Poetry

Language: English

Release date: 06-21-16

Publisher: Author's Republic

Publisher's Summary:

The emotion and experience of parents' lives is indelible. The physical loss is heart-wrenching; however the human psyche holds the memory bank that overpowers our physical presence. In our mind's eye, the presence of our lost parents is just as real, just as vivid, the emotion even more pronounced, even more valued and cherished. There are no physical boundaries that can intervene in the experience of physically loving and safeguarding such precious relationships. This tribute goes way beyond the realms of such deep-seated sentiment. In spite of the physical adieu, their lives continue to be honored and to be an integral part of the lives of their loved ones here on Earth. It is one whose significance should be not only communicated but most importantly emulated by mankind.

Exchange student supplemental material

The print size is comfortable to read. This was purchased for classroom use with an exchange student to use with the English version to better understand the play. It matches well o the Prentice Hall version of the play. It lacks side notes or annotations for clarification of meaning connected to the time period, so supplemental materials for this purpose would be needed. It would work well as a script for a school play since it is extremely close in meaning and structure to the Riverside edition. This is a great support piece for German language learners, or English Language learners from German speaking areas. When individualizing instruction in the classroom, this edition is worth the money.
