From the author of the #1 New York Times best seller Wait for You
Do Teresa and Jase have a real shot at getting together or will life get in the way?
Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year - she's in love with her big brother's best friend, but he hasn't spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, life-changing kiss. Then she got out of a terrible relationship. Now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It's time for plan B: college. And maybe she'll have a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he's not telling anyone - especially not his best friend's incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn't have time for a relationship. But it doesn't help that all he can think about is kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.
As they're thrown together more and more, Jase and Teresa can't keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they're willing to risk to be together and what they're willing to lose if they're not
    Critic Reviews:
"Be with Me is delicious, unabashed melodrama. And it works." (New York Journal of Books)

    sexy and touching
i must say Jase is my least favorite of all hot guys from this series. i like and disliked him at the same time. he is such a jerk sometimes, hot then cold, yes then no, wants her then doesnt. wth man, get a grip! i dont think i would give him a 4th chance if i were tess.. but. in any case, their story is really intense and sexy, the narrator does a pretty good job as well.
    really great read
really love the story line. I understand that Jace was going through some things but he stated to piss me off but then got it together. I love him.
Sophie I love her voice and will listen to almost anything that she narrates. I will introduced this book to my friends
    great book
love love these books just the right amount of everything. I can't wait to listen to the next book
    Loved it!
Love all of the series! I have listened to them all more than once! Can't wait to see what to come in the future! Love narration by Sophie too!
    Love, Love, Love this! <3
What made the experience of listening to Be with Me the most enjoyable?
Sophie is such a great narrator. Her voices are spot on for what I pictured. The male voices manage to be masculine and sultry at the same time!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jace. Lord how I wish he existed in real life.
What does Sophie Eastlake bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
Her voices give the book an advantage you wouldn't get from reading the hard copy. Every voice is so distinct and well executed
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I really loved the moments when Jace was there for Tess. She went through so much in the book and he stayed with her through all of it.
** One of my favorite parts was after the Debbie situation, when Cam came back into town and found Tess and Jace in a compromising situation.

    Publisher's Summary:
The sequel to the international bestselling novel The Art of Hearing Heartbeats.
Almost ten years have passed since Julia Win came back from Burma, her father's native country. Though she is a successful Manhattan lawyer, her private life is at a crossroads; her boyfriend recently left her, she has suffered a miscarriage, and she is, despite her wealth, unhappy with her professional life. Julia is lost and exhausted.
One day, in the middle of an important business meeting, she hears a stranger's voice in her head that causes her to leave the office without explanation. In the following days, her crisis only deepens. Not only does the female voice refuse to disappear, but it starts to ask questions Julia has been trying to avoid. Why do you live alone? To whom do you feel close? What do you want in life?
Interwoven with Julia's story is that of a Burmese woman named Nu Nu who finds her world turned upside down when Burma goes to war and calls on her two young sons to be child soldiers. This spirited sequel, like The Art of Hearing Heartbeats, explores the most inspiring and passionate terrain: The human heart.

a book that touches all senses
What did you love best about A Well-Tempered Heart?
I read his first book - "The art of hearing heart beat" which is pretty much a must to start with before reading this one. They are both written like a poem , like a melody of one's spirit. The book left me thinking and wondering about one's choices in life and the always existing opportunity to forgive and move on. Listening to one's Intuition is the key element which spoke to me.
What other book might you compare A Well-Tempered Heart to and why?
the first book -" The art of hearing heartbeat" and "on thousand white woman" by Jim Fergus.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me walk more as this is when I listen to my books and volunteer to every carpool suggested so I could listen to it in the car.......

    Listen to your heart
We all go through life on particular paths, some of which don't fit as we travel them. This book explores what happens when Julia jumps off, or maybe is pushed off, her regular life. Beautifully written and faithfully translated, the story captures you immediately and subtilely transforms you. If you don't want to change then don't engage with this book. You may find yourself quietly watching both nature and those around you with new interest.
Outstanding pairing of narrator and Story--
Having loaded a few dozen books on my iPod nano, I scrolled through and chose this book at random, forgetting even why I purchased it in the first place. I had forgotten it was a sequel until I finished the book and was preparing a review. So well written, I did not feel lost or confused or even suspected there was another book with more background information. I was captured within minutes of the beginning of the book. The story starts as Julia, a successful manhattan attorney is standing to give an important presentation when she clearly hears a woman's voice in her head warning her of danger.

    Publisher's Summary:
After wasting too many years on the wrong man, Dana is finally able to free herself and her two children only to find herself thrown into the spotlight when her books become an overnight sensation. Suddenly, her normal quiet life is gone forever and she's forced to deal with paparazzi, offers from porn companies, magazines, Hollywood and crazed fans all while trying to keep it together for her kids. She never dreamed she'd catch the eye of the most sought after bachelor in the world. Things like that just didn't happen to women like her, or did they?
Having a life? What the hell was that? Edward couldn't remember what it felt like to live his own life without someone watching his every move. Thanks to the paparazzi and the internet nothing in his life was sacred. Out of desperation to keep some semblance of a life, he stops living his own. His family and work are all he has left until he's made an offer he simply can't resist. Working with the famous author forces him to open his heart and take a chance. Winning the heart of the woman he loves while the world watches is anything but easy, but he never thought it would be dangerous. His only hope is that they get through it together... and alive.
    Editorial Reviews:
Erin Bennett's frank but tender performance captures the spirit of R. L. Mathewson's leading couple, two surprisingly down-to-earth Hollywood stars struggling to hold on to each other - and themselves - amid the storm of drama and action that follows their fame: guns, bombs, paparazzi, crazed fans and much, much more. Bennett also understands the tone of Mathewson's distinctive sense of humor, which charmed listeners in the A Neighbor from Hell series, when it comes to interactions between heartthrob actor Edward and his decidedly unimpressed family or Dana and devoted babysitter Deana.
A fast-paced adult fairy tale for those who believe everyone, regardless of past mistakes, deserves a second chance at their dream happy ending.
    Members Reviews:
a delightful treat filled with love & passion.
Really really loved it, once I started it I couldn't put it down! Dana was in a horrible crappy marriage and had two kids. She submits a story she wrote and it gets purchased for publishing. This provides her the money to get a divorce and give her kids a better life. Once her story is a success she's asked to write more and eventually ends up having to write a book with Edward Pierce, the actor who will be playing the hero of the story when it's made for the big screen. Edward is somewhat quiet and not really into the Hollywood scene that he's forced into with being an actor but he understands why he has to "play the part". Meeting Dana is a breath of fresh air to him in comparison to all the actresses, Hollywood people and obsessive fans he's usually exposed to. While writing together they get to know each other and eventually fall for each other. That's the first half of the story, the second half is all the ups and downs of being in a relationship with a famous actor/famous author: no privacy, people constantly wanting your time, leaving for filming for long periods of time, crazy fans, things along those lines.

Each decoration brings with it a tide of memories, all of which she holds dear to her heart. Join the Sullivans this Christmas for a story that explores the wonder of the holidays, the meaning of family and a love that transcends time.

    The capstone on eight novels
I made it through. This last book is a fitting capstone. It brings Mary Sullivan back to where she meets the love of her life Jack. As with all other novels, the romance is fast and takes place within minutes of the opening chapter. It a nice story. The tension in this story is far less in the previous eight books because you know what is going to happen. You are going to need Kleenex to get the Prologue so be forewarned.
I know there are a Sullivan series in Seattle and in New York. But I am going to take a break for a few months and let the series settle. Mary and her family was too perfect. If I go and start the other ones, I can't help but wonder if I'll be let down or angry that I won't hear about the exploits of the San Fran Sullivan. Give this a listen.
No Depth . . . Too Much Repetition
Started out well . . . but I could hardly finish it . . . I like romance as much as the next person, but I can only listen to so much kissing and touchy/feely . . . the story lacks any depth or character development . . . this one is WAY too shallow for my taste . . . if you left out the love making scenes, it would last about five minutes . . .

First Thought when Finished: Kissing Under the Mistletoe is exactly the kind of Christmas read I love: sweet, moving, and in this case history of a character (Mary) that I love and adore!
Story Thoughts: Kissing Under the Mistletoe was a bittersweet read that had me crying both at the beginning and the end. Fans of The Sullivans series already know what is happening in the present day but it was wonderful to get Mary and Jack's love story. In fact, I have to say it is my 2nd favorite in the series. Perhaps it was knowing what their love created already but their instant connection worked for me (that is rare). Their whirlwind romance swept me off me feet and made me swoon. This is a fantastic Christmas read and I would highly recommend it to all fans of The Sullivan series.
    Audio Thoughts:

Eva does a great job with The Sullivan series. She has the right emotion for these really deep and moving contemporary romances.

Ryan Stone is a less-than-average teenager. He doesn't have fancy clothes. He doesn't carry around the latest smartphone and he definitely doesn't have an MP3 player. Instead, he goes to school, does his chores, and dreams of a new life away from Brookfield where he's expected to follow in his blue collar family's footsteps.
Hadley Carter is America's Pop Princess. A successful recording artist living her dream with a sold-out tour and a handful of Grammy's there isn't much that she wants for, except love. But finding love on the road is near impossible when all she longs for are romantic dinners, a nighttime stroll on the beach, and holding hands with someone who isn't going to exploit her.
When a chance encounter introduces Ryan to Hadley, will he be like her adoring fans looking for a way in? Or will it be Hadley who pursues Ryan even though it might cost her the only career she's known.
Lost in You is a story about following your dreams, taking risks and getting lost in love.
    Members Reviews:
    Conflicted
I am conflicted about this book mostly because it is not my usual cup of tea.
I enjoy May- December romances but I prefer when the man is older. This was still a good book though. I believe the author did a very good job of capturing the angst that comes along with first love.
    Worth the credit.
So much whining but I guess it's to be expected
The narration was very good but by mid story I was getting pretty annoyed with the narrator's whining voice. Granted, the character Ryan was going through heart wrenching anguish but it was almost enough to make me turn the book off.
Overall, the story was an interesting enough rendition of star-crossed love. The ending was predictable and in comparison to the action within the body of the story, somewhat of a let down. I felt the last few chapters simply punched out what we all expected to happen in the end without any drama. In the end, it was good brainless listening.
    New voices in narration...AWESOME!!!
If you could sum up Lost in You in three words, what would they be?
    FAN FREAKING TASTIC!!!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Without a doubt it was Ryan Stone. I never thought I would say this because I love my bad boys, but it was nice having a hero that didn't do something to jeopardize the relationship with the heroine. Ryan was sweet, shy and terribly cute. He didn't own a cell phone, didn't listen to music, never broke curfew and attended church every Sunday. Until meeting Hadley just a few months shy of his 18th birthday, Ryan had never even kissed a girl!. Roles were definitely reversed in this story.
    Which scene was your favorite?
I've listened to the last 4 chapters at least 5 times so I would definitely have to say the reunion was my favorite.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
She was 22 and America's Princess of Pop. He was 17 and didn't own a radio. Can love survive the impossible?
    Any additional comments?
This story is New Adult at its finest. Holly. McLaughlin defied all the conventional expectations that define this relatively new sub-genre of romance and not only made the unusual premise seem quite normal but did it with compassion and a genuineness that makes "Lost In You" worth no less than 5 stars.

    Sweet Love Story
This is one of the better Sullivan stories. This was naughty's story and it was very delightful. Such a wonderful happily ever after!
Don't usually listen to contemporary romances BUT
I listen to an audiobook every day for at least eight hours. I have a strong preference for historical romance and have enjoyed some paranormal writers but don't care much for contemporary romances or "chick-lit". Then I found the Sullivans! These stories are wonderful. Bella Andre managed to write love stories for eight siblings, each unique and entertaining. The characters are well-developed and the stories are narrated well. If you usually don't like novels written in current times I highly recommend trying this series for something different!
    SWEET ROMANCE
I have to say Bella Andre can do ROMANCE book 1 thru book 8 are GREAT a different type of romance for each brother and sister well done. Eva Kaminsky is becoming one of the best narrators. I want more please!!!!!!
    love Love LOVE those Sullivans!!!
Bella never fails to engage, captivate, and involve us in her stories. I love the Sullivan men the most but "naughty" did good for herself and true love to boot. Can't wait to see what Bella has in store for the Mother. Great story...wonderful narration. A must for your collection
We have been waiting for Naughty
Finally Lori (Naughty) Sullivan takes front row in book eight. It's only fitting, she has been the upbeat glue used lavishly in the previous books to always speak her mind and cement relationships or make outlandish declarations. In this book we see the depth of her patience and her empathy come out. In this interesting plot, Andre paints a vivid picture of Lori and her romantic story.
Grayson saw it coming, he just couldn't stop it. The setting on the farm is perfect. A better setting couldn't have been done. You will get you fill in the book. Just remember what goes around comes around. Thumbs up on this one.

like the book the narrator!? i dont know
Would you try another book from Colleen Hoover and/or Kirby Heyborne?
i love colleen hoovers books but the narrator now, i dont understand why Will sounded like a southener, doesnt sound like a voice that ypu would swoon over, i like the narrator in point of retreat even if he reads it fast
Would you be willing to try another one of Kirby Heybornes performances?
    no
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
yes i would love to see it
A Good Conclusion to the Series
What did you love best about This Girl: A Novel?
Finally, a great narrator. Thank you for bringing Kirby into the mix. He made the last book. I also enjoyed the conclusion to the series.
Have you listened to any of Kirby Heybornes other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to his books. He always does a great job. His performance in this book was consistent with his other books, very good.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The Slams very awesome! Well done!
Good, but seems like a re-cap
What made the experience of listening to This Girl: A Novel the most enjoyable?
I really liked the narrator for this book. He has a lot of emotion and really captures the feel of the conversations without being over the top.
Would you be willing to try another book from Colleen Hoover? Why or why not?
I would. I like the plot of her stories and there are some funny moments that are written well.
What about Kirby Heybornes performance did you like?
The way he was able to differentiate between characters (not just accents, but the mood and tone as well) and the emphasis on the emotion being conveyed--without being over the top. There are a couple scenes where Layken is really upset with Will and he just captures it perfectly.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not really. There's nothing about this book that's new from the first two books. It's just in Will's perspective. I won't give it away, but there's one thing in particular that happens that the audience didn't know about from Layken's perspective, but otherwise, nothing new.
    Any additional comments?
I would recommend the book if you're just not done listening to the series, otherwise, you could skip it and not miss anything.

But with college right around the corner, unexpected challenges will test her resilience - and her heart.
Livie walks into Princeton with a solid plan, and shes dead set on delivering on it: Rock her classes, set herself up for medical school, and meet a good, respectable guy to marry someday. What isnt part of her plan are Jell-O shots; a lovable, party animal roommate she cant say "no" to; and Ashton, the arrogant - and extremely attractive - captain of the mens rowing team who makes Livies usually non-existent temper flare. Worse, hes best friends and roommates with Connor, who fits Livies criteria perfectly. So why does she keep thinking about Ashton?
As Livie finds herself facing mediocre grades, career aspirations she no longer thinks she can handle, and feelings for Ashton that she shouldnt have, shes forced to let go of her last promise to her father and, with it, the only identity that she knows.

    One Tiny Lie
This book was great not as captivating as the first book. Didn't need an entire box of tissues this time. You will still be drawn in from the beginning. This story is set in college. I laughed and cried (a tiny bit) at times. I had a love / hate thing with Ashton. I felt bad for Conner but it just wasn't meant to be. You won't be disappointed with this book.
    Cute young adult story
Would you try another book from K. A. Tucker and/or Elizabeth Louise?
I loved Ten Tiny Breaths which is the reason why I listened to this book. Elizabeth Louise delivered yet another emotionally filled narration that added to the story of the book, which seemed believable until the end came into view. My main issue with the book was that Livie, which was introduced in the prior book as a stunningly mature teenager, would have never put herself in that situation where she would cheat her boyfriend with his best friend. It just doesn't jive with who she is truly is. Besides that, the story is told beautifully and emotions are always at full display, typical of K.A. Tucker style <3
PERFECT FOLLOW UP TO 10 TINY BREATHS!
The first book was still the best but this was an excellent follow up and I loved the conclusion. The author did a wonderful job keeping you guessing right up until the end. This was an incredible story and more than worth the credit! I look forward to listening to more by this author and narrators that did a wonderful job telling this incredible story!
    Great!
This is the next book after Ten Tiny Breaths. Takes place in a completely different setting so it changes things up a bit with a college setting. Livy goes to Princeton and struggles with relationships between two different guys, the one she should be with and the one she wants to be with. It keeps you hanging on to see what is going to happen next. I thought this one was really good.

    Publisher's Summary:
Mackenzie "Max" Miller has a problem. Her parents have arrived in town for a surprise visit, and if they see her dyed hair, tattoos, and piercings, they just might disown her. Even worse, they're expecting to meet a nice wholesome boyfriend, not a guy named Mace who has a neck tattoo and plays in a band. All her lies are about to come crashing down around her, but then she meets Cade.
Cade moved to Philadelphia to act and to leave his problems behind in Texas. So far though, he's kept the problems and had very little opportunity to take the stage. When Max approaches him in a coffee shop with a crazy request to pretend to be her boyfriend, he agrees to play the part. But when Cade plays the role a little too well, they're forced to keep the ruse going. And the more they fake the relationship, the more real it begins to feel.

    Witty New Adult Romance
Its great to see that nice guys dont finish last in Faking It. Through a humorous chance meeting; Cade has to pose as Mackenzies (call her Max) boyfriend to meet the parents. Max tends to go for rocker types and her parents dont approve. Cade, however, is every parents dream. Hes polite, clean cut, in grad school, and volunteers with under-privileged youth. Cade is the golden boy, and Max is the angry girl, but opposites attract and soon sparks are flying.
Max dreams for her band to make it big, and has a series of odd jobs to support her habit. With her tattoos, dyed hair, and piercings, shes not Cades usual type. But he feels more himself when hes with her than he ever has. Max has some family demons in the closet, and puts on a mask in front of her parents, playing the perfect daughter role. But Cade is helping her to embrace her true self. The story is in dual narrative format so we get to see how Cade and Max are feeling about each other.
I read the book first, but wanted to give a listen to the audiobook when I saw one of my favorite narrators Emma Galvin performs it. The performance is actually split between two narrators, with narrator Dan Bittner reading Cades portion of the story. Its cute because both Bittner and Galvin perform Travis and Abby in Beautiful/Walking Disaster and now theyre a couple again in Faking It. Galvins voice is perfect for edgy characters so shes a good fit for Max. And Bittner has the Golden Guy voice thats very appropriate for Cade. The reading pace is good, and I was entertained for the 7.5-hour audiobook. Both the book and audiobook are equally enjoyable, so you cant go wrong.
Cora Carmack has a great knack for dialogue and writing romantic comedy. There is a good mix of relatable life and career issues, family drama, and romance. The romantic situations are totally in keeping with the story and don't totally take over like some NA books.
    Entertaining!
I am a little too old for the YA books but this was still good. I was totally involved and loved the characters. Although not shown, there is a male narrator for the male character. Both narrators are great which always makes the story just that much better. The story was fun with some drama and I couldn't stop listening. Typical in some ways with the new YA craze but still worth it if you have liked them in the past.
    It was nice
