This story continues to make me cry every time its read or listened to. There are parts that make my jaw drop even though Ive read this sooo many times. This series is my go to series when I need a pick me up.

The narrators make the story come alive. They become real.

Love and ink

I absolutely loved this audio. Not only did it have great character development but it had raw, true, obsessive love, and desire that make me want to scream for mercy. This has a powerful story that had me tearing up in parts and kept me hooked the whole entire time. I would definitely recommend this audio. Both of the narrators did a fantastic job of conveying the emotions of the characters perfectly. Hot, steamy, heart breaking, panty melting. I can't say enough!

Great story but wasnt proofed right

I love the story, its a little dark and the hero isnt clean cut - full of flaws which I think just made him human and lovable. The heroine is nothing really special but that doesnt matter cause she is special to the hero. The supporting characters are written well too.

Zacharys performance was pretty good! Muffys was good but she was too breathy/nasally. At one point, it was annoying to hear her breath at the end of every sentence. A great performance combined - the right emotions were there!

I only gave an overall 4 stars cause of the editing - it wasnt clean. A few repeats and there was one instance where one chapter started and stop in the middle and another chapter started and then the previous chapter came on again. It was confusing for a bit. I hope it will be fixed.

I dont even know what to say.... Phoenix was amazing with his dedicated love and his need to protect the people he loves! I had to google the tattoos he had to have an image and I have to say I learned a new perspective on face tattooing. He was so broken yet so strong, he was a gentleman, tender with his fiery personality. And his relationship to Animal! OMG the brotherhood did somethings to my heart

Becca also got to my heart! With her easy friend Henry I laughed her strong personality and her sass! Her acceptance and forgiveness had no bounds!

The image of Mercy/Phoenix with Becca on the wishing field was so beautiful!

OH MY GOD!!!!!! What a book. Im definitely gonna have to repeat this book. Phoenix is just to good to not go back for seconds hes the damaged bad boy thats OH SO GOOD!! And what a fantastic love story. First book of of this author for me. Im going stalker now.

Wish the ending was stronger

Hopefully there will be a follow up. Story was good but I thought the ending was rushed. If there is an Animal story maybe we will get more closure.

Female narrator has not been my favorite in the past but she was better in this narration. The male was awesome as always.

Jarring. Not in a good way.

This is not a stellar story by any measure. Having a man perform it is just odd. Hearing his impression of a woman's voice is just, well, like being at a drag show except that I'm not drunk on stage with a Queen singing Born this Way. Take a pass. His voice is nice but this is just a lousy match.

I love this series!!

Great story and I am excited to and anxious for book 3 to come out. I with they would pre sale it so I can get notice when it is coming out.

The Sullivan girls grow on you

Despite my deep dislike of the romance genre, i feel that this author did an exceptional job in balancing realistic human feelings with a just as realistic plot revolving around the changing dynamics of a multi-generational family in flux. i grew to truly care about and enjoy the characters in this book and what happens to them as the story progresses. The narrator gives a fine performance as she settles into the voice of each character. I am very looking forward to the next installment in this story. The author has left plenty of intriguing threads hanging out there for us to grab onto in anticipation of story resolution.

...didnt work for me, I couldnt do it. I tried. It sounded like she was trying to hard and it grated my nerves.

It was too distracting for me to even tell you if the author did a good job. I only got an hour in.

disappointing

The summary sounded like it would be a bdsm book but you also have torture used as programming the two sides just didn't make a seamless book for me I won't be trying another book from this author

I really enjoyed the narration for this romance as well as its nice hurt/comfort elements.

Told from both Dayne Mills and Lawson Martin's points of view this story is really sweet and focuses on starting over and not letting new opportunities, especially for love, pass you by.

There's also a really lovely side story that comes from Dayne's research and ties in nicely with the main story.

Dayne has suffered quite a bit of loss in his life as he falls in love with Lawson he also has to contend with his fear of losing him because Lawson has a dangerous job and also enjoys potentially dangerous hobbies (skydiving, cliff jumping, etc.) in his free time.

Lawson isn't so much a thrill seeker as looking for the things that make him feel alive, but he's also willing to do whatever it takes to keep Dayne and take care of him.

Michael Pauley really does a fantastic job with this narration, bringing the characters to life and giving emotional nuance to the story itself.

Cleansing Flame is a sweet, low angst romance, with some nice comfort elements and great narration.

Cleansing Flame is Book 2 in Andrew Grey's Rekindled Flame series. This book could be read on its own, even though there are some appearances from the couple in the previous book, but why not get the full enjoyment of the series and start with Book 1. :)

Dayne had noticed the hot guy at the Historical Society but never gave consideration that someone who looked like Lawson could ever be interested in him. WOW.. IT WAS UNEXPECTED, SEDUCTIVE & SUSPENSEFUL

Samantha Towle has exceeded all my expectations with this very addictive and very powerful story about Daisy - a framed heroine wrongly found guilty of a crime she didn't commit and lost just about everything because of it. But the one thing she didn't lose was her supportive bff and, with her help, Daisy started to rejoin the world and pick up the pieces of her shattered world after spending eighteen months of her sentence in prison. Her Parole Officer has found her a job as a maid at a wealthy Estate and, for Daisy, this is the first step to getting her younger brother out of care.

However, it would also be the start of a frustrating, confusing, annoying and dysfunctional relationship with her new employer.. the very handsome, very hot and very moody Kastor Matis (aka Kas). Oooooo I love it

Story: I could not put this book down. The chemistry... The story.... the characters... It is all fantastic. I can not wait to read more. Powerful dominating man, wounded inexperienced woman. Together, FIRE.

Narration: Together Lacy and Jeffrey heat this story up. The performance is great! I love how they bring this story to life in the best ways.

I have struggled over this review, more than I ever have any others. I contemplated not reviewing it at all. Contrary to what some people believe reviewers/ bloggers dont like to be negative, but we also dont feel the need to give everything 5 stars. Which is why, in the end, Ive decided to write this review, because I committed to it and Ive always been honest and I hope fair, in my reviews.

Alexander Stone is a wealthy businessman who takes a shine to Krystina Cole, both have sworn off relationships but sex? They can do no strings sex, surely thats ok? Only Alexander has certain expectations when it comes to sex that Krystina may not be able to deliver. The chemistry they feel for each other is enough to make them question everything. Will they be able to overcome the odds and make their unconventional relationship work or will their secrets ruin things before they can really start?

I have to start by saying this story was not my cup of tea, the subject yes, but not the execution. I felt the story had great promise and at the beginning, I enjoyed it and thought it was a book I was going to love, it pains me to say that it didnt work out that way. I had so many issues with how certain elements were handled. That, of course, is personal opinion and Im sure many will read or listen to it and enjoy it. It was well written and although I dont like to compare books, I will say that I think if youre a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey youll like this book.

Alexander and Krystina literally bump into one another and the chemistry is there, they meet again and flirting ensues.
