Wow what a great story!!!

I loved the characters in this book! The hero was an alpha male but it was tempered by a feisty heroine that gave back as much as she got. This paranormal storyline started out with a heroine in need of a third job and she just happens to get a job at the north pole with Santa himself. In this story Santa is an elf named Nick who has to deal with a court when he's not distributing Christmas presents. I don't want to ruin the story so I'll just say that you won't be disappointed in it at all. I loved the story, the characters and it had a really good way of explaining why certain things were part of the Santa myth without going on and on. They did more show than tell in long paragraphs of dialogue rather than exposition. Try this -you'll love it!

I love the Hearth Motel and related series!

I love the Hearth Motel and related series! I read Unwrapping Mr Roth when it came out in one of the Holiday Multi Author sets and picked it up when the book came out and reread before reading Knight in Leather. Loved Gillian and Nick. A really fun Holiday story.

Sexy Santa

I enjoyed this story. It was a different take on Santa. Loved Gillian, she was spunky and Nicholas was sexy. Look forward to reading other books in this series.

Late entry

I did not start this book series at the beginning and so came in obviously missing major bits and pieces to the puzzle of the story line. However, that being said, it was still an engaging story that kept your interest and lead some where. Characters seem well developed and had depth to them. Graphic Sex was in basically every chapter for those of you who need to have that element. The series felt deep enough I want to go and get the other books to see what I missed. I received this book at no charge in exchange for an honest review. I would be interested in and would recommend this book and series. Those interested in the super natural would enjoy the dynamics of the whole thing I believe.

Interesting but a little anti-climactic

Into Forever is the fifth book in the Forbidden Love Series and obviously so. While the book is stand alone, I think it is necessary to read or listen to the earlier books to understand the characters and their history. This was my first book in the series and I think missing the earlier books affected how much I enjoyed the story. I did find the characters very interesting and their relationships (as couples and as a family) complex and full of potential. I thought that the story was leading the reader to a larger crisis than what actually resulted, which was a little disappointing. That said, I enjoyed the potential of this series enough to be a little curious about what happened in the earlier books and what has yet to come.

Shifters and spy networks

This was a great story. The book starts out during America's revolutionary times and recounts the birth of Rubicon, a for hire spy network started by two shifters Lars and Garen. Fast forward to the future and you get inside the super secretive company and meet Miranda, a tough spy in training who Garen has fallen for. The rest of the story has a lot of action and hot sex. The only problem I had was that while I loved the narration of most of the characters, Miranda came across as sounding a little whiny and I don't think that was author's intention. All in all it was a wonderful story to listen to. I would definitely recommend.

Interesting mix

I found this audiobook had an interesting mix of action scenarios as well as sexual tension between Garen and his mate. I also enjoyed the bantering between Garen and his fellow agent/friend Lars. There was plenty of romance as well as a mix of the unknown. The performance was very well done as well. I found it to be a great listen.

I received this book as a gift in exchange for an objective and honest review.

Garen

Garen: Loved this story. Garen is a shifter who runs Rubicon International. He has feelings for a trainee which is against the rules in the company.Miranda is an operative who has kept it a secret she is a shifter. With the suspense love and Magic the story comes together quite well. Could not put the story down till done!!

Great Start to Series

This book is the first book in the Rubicon International series. I have read other books from this author and I was not disappointed in this book. This is a standalone. And no cliffhanger at the end though it is open-ended for future books. There is violence and hot steamy shifter sex. Definitely 18+.

The author packed a lot of emotion and action into this read. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The author managed to richly describe the background of the company which is the basis of the series, the characters, and get you caught up in the emotions between the main characters.

There is plenty of action as well as twists and turns in the book. I really enjoyed this book and storyline. I hope we see more of Garen and Miranda in future books.

A gritty, delectable romp

I was a beta reader for this excellent novel, and I am so happy to see it up and ready to buy. The main story is very different from his previous two novels, something that worked in his favour (though I missed Michelle and Aaron) for expanding the universe. The sex scenes are great, the character development is really great, and the pace is tight. The author likes his hardboiled crime plots, but he handles them well, and they're a lot of fun to read. The morals are even greyer than previously, and this is the only time I've ever seen research about legal matters in a book put in with such flair and panache. The sex, of course, is great, but you can expect that from this author's writing. All in all, it's a solidly written contribution to the genre, with the delightful advantage of being written from a human perspective.

The only critique I will offer is that sometimes the villainess was a bit flat, and the ending was a little rushed. It's worth mentioning, but chances are, it won't slow you down.

Tired of vampires? Losing hope of finding anything other than watered-down, angsty teen crushes? Don't hesitate to drop the money for this book. You will thank yourself and breathe a sigh of relief as you settle into the blood-drenched, twisted story.

Sexy, Dark and not at all what I expected.

This book really caught me off guard -- and that doesn't happen often. I had an idea that this book would push boundaries, what I didn't expect was how deep the storyline would go. Blood Slave starts out as a book you can't put down.

Captivating from start to finish!!!

I could stop I listened to this all the way through in one sitting I couldn't help myself. Fabulously written and well put together this book just doesn't stop it takes you on an incredible adventure. Fabulous narration by the 'very talented Kai and Wen. You just can't help but be hooked!!!

awesome book

I'm loving this series and Kai & Wen were awesome. Now how long do we have to wait for book 3 ? What happens to Shane will he find love ?

An okay book

It took a long time to get to the real story so I didn't really get into it. It does end in a cliff hanger so be aware if you don't like those. Also only one couple ends in a somewhat happy ending. The others are left hanging. The narrators on the other hand did a fabulous job at bringing the many characters to life. Giving each a separate identity. The narrators made listening to the story worth while.

My Two Pennies

In book two were given the story of Morpheus & Cecilia and how they became to be together. I was pulled in with book one and one was a good read as well although at times I felt a little drag but then the story picked back up. We were continuing ahead with Billy & Thyme as well and I was happy to hear more about their story entwined within. I was left with a WHAT?! ending and I love it and don't at the same time. I want to know more but it's killing me that I can't. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Hot and fast paced

Maya was at a wedding and feeling out of place until Adam stepped to make her feel special. Sadly she found out Adam was a shifter and her family hates shifters. Seems her heart and head are messing with her because Adam is sweet, hot, kind and we'll he just rocks her world.

I would have liked to read more about the wolf pack that was giving them a hard time but this story just touched on them lightly.

Quick story that's hot, fast paced and action-packed

Amazing

I enjoyed reading about Adam and Maya, I would have liked it to have been longer but it was an interesting story. I was hooked from the beginning. Becca Fanning did an amazing job with this story. I highly recommend it. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review

I liked this series better.

I decided to wait to review more stories by this author because I donât really care for stories that make you feel as if you were left hanging even when they arenât cliffhangers. While the first set of stories that I read by this author were hit-or-miss more or less, this short novella series was a lot stronger story wise. The plot was much more coherent and each couples story happens within the same arc so you donât feel as if youâve missed something or as if something was missing. While each is exciting in itâs own right, some were better than others.

In this story, Maya is there for her best friend Dinaâs wedding even though she doesnât want to be. There she meets Adam and comes face-to-face with some bad wolf shifters. From that point on, I was glad that I waited til they were all out because while the insta-lust/love dynamic that they had going on made for a short but harrowing story.

Love Is In The Air

Fanning keeps her stories roaringly successful (pun intended). Here we have Maya as a bridesmaid for her college roommate Dina and Adam who is a groomsman for his cousin Tom. Both are reluctant at best but still take the plunge into seeing the happy couple tie the knot. Love is in the air....or not when things happen to throw a monkey wrench into the HEA. Dina's ex doesn't want the wedding to happen, Maya was raised to despise shifters, and Adam wants to change her mind after meeting her.

The twists and turns of the story keeps you laughing, growling, and second guessing what you should believe in. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know these characters and the plot that would change their lives (except for the sleazebag of an ex).

Bear shifter romance and intrigue

I was gifted this ARC for an honest review and have to admit this book is the first by this author that I have read and I liked it enough to buy it.

The plot was unique to the genre with twists and turns being very credible and unforced. The charactersâ reactions are convincing and genuine, especially when Theresa first discovers that Jameson is a were bear. Her responses were authentic and on track. I read the book in one sitting, eager to see how these two worked out their problems and thoroughly enjoyed the heartfelt ending. Readers of all ages will enjoy Mister Bear

I love bear shifters, but this was very different from most of them, with a darker tone. It started a little slow, but got better and I loved the ending. I would even recommend it to others.

Good Read

Enjoyed this different take on standard paranormal shifter love story. Loved female lead that failed to let her fears of the unknown to prevent her from the path to true love. She was fearless in the way she lived her life without compromising her values even to the riches of her bear. Liked the tormented

bear who was unable to fulfill his true self until he found the love of his true mate.

Enjoyed this story and I recommend it for all.

Couldn't get through it

It's really sad when the book has a great cover and title. To end up very disappointmented. I did not finish this story. I could not get passed the first few chapters. Seriously wasted effort.

A good story, great characters

I enjoyed reading this story. The plot was well defined and held my interest to the end. The characters were well developed and fleshed out. Their love story had a lot of ups and downs but followed a realistic pattern. The story dragged in places with exposition of detail was tedious but if you stick with it, you will enjoy this well developed love story.

Good quick story

Wasnât what I thought it would be. I did enjoy it a whole lot though. Two men abused in a cast system. One runs to save his own life, the other to save his unborn child from being subjected to that life. They find each other, happy ever after. No big showdown. Iâd read a sequel.

Short And Sweet!

The story was amazingly detailed and interesting for such a short piece. I didn't expect it to be as captivating as it was, with well-thought out characters who possessed identifiable backstories that took place on an a alian planet.

Interesting idea

If I could, I'd give the novella a 4.5 out 5 stars due to some clarity issues and a few grammatical goofs. Other than that I would also like to have seen more character development so hopefully a sequel will be possible. I think the author ended the story ata good point, but I would like to read more.

Loved the characters

This was a fun read and I hope the author conties the series. I found both characters very endearing at the end
