We’re nearing the end of Dissect Season 1, and I need your help for the final episode of the season. Through e-mail, I’ve had the pleasure of conversing with some of you about To Pimp a Butterfly, music, or the podcast itself. I love hearing different points of view, and since you’ve heard my perspective for so long throughout this season, for the finale episode, I’d love to include yours.

Also, I’m really excited to announce the launch of the Dissect Podcast fundraiser. I began thinking about a fundraiser to help offset some of the costs for the podcast, but the more I thought about it, and the more asked myself “What Would Kendrick Do?” I’ve decided instead to donate any proceeds generated to the Bicentennial High School Music Program in Compton, California. This was Kendrick’s high school, and he’s since donated large sums of money to the music program in an effort to keep kids off the street and in the studio.
