We've got a couple of depressing movies to dive into this week in the show. Kevin's choice is the 2013 Coen brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis about a struggling folk musician in 1960's New York City. Drew chose the 2016 drama film Manchester by the Sea from director Kenneth Lonergan. This movie follows a man who, after his brother dies, ends up becoming the sole guardian of his teenage nephew.

It's a Halloween horror edition of the movie talk podcast and we're getting nice and spooky on this one. Kevin's choice is Rob Zombie's directorial debut film, House of 1000 Corpses. It definitely has its cult following and although it didn't get the best ratings, people still seem to love it. Drew's pick is the 2021 sequel to Candyman, a horror movie tilogy from the 90's. It's a movie that was pretty well received by audiences and critics alike.

With the voices of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray and more, this movie did well with critics and audiences alike. Kevin chose Stanley Kubrick's 1964 war/comedy, Dr. Strangelove. It's a very weird and silly movie that was also very well received by critics and audiences. Also, at the end the episode, we choose a couple of horror flicks for this year's Halloween edition of the show. Thanks for tuning in!

"I'm your huckleberry." It's time for another chat about movies! Kevin's choice this week is the classic western film, Tombstone. With a hell of a cast and numerous quotable lines, this movie is always an enjoyable watch. Drew's pick is the 2018 crime/drama film, BlacKkKlansman starring John David Washington and Adam Driver. The movie is based on a true story of an African-American detective who sets out on a mission to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan.
