Diva Behavior’s a brand new podcast where we celebrate the pop culture divas of the 20th century and beyond. Madonna, Jane Fonda, Oprah Winfrey, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Princess Di, Anna Nicole Smith — these are just some of the divas we'll discuss in our first season. 

We’ll talk about their lives and careers, the risks they took, the impact they had on pop culture — all of it. And we’ll critique them when warranted too, because divas contain multitudes. I mean look at Elizabeth Taylor, you know?

So you might be wondering: what’s a diva? There are tons of definitions, but for the purposes of this podcast: a diva is a rule-breaking household name with insane levels of charisma. A diva is always a lightning rod for controversy. And a diva knows how to excel within a patriarchal heteronormative society, even though those values don’t match their own. That’s what the word diva means to me, and I love it! I don’t know how else to put it.
