In this episode of our podcast we are discussing the first episode of Star Trek The Next Generation, Encounter at Farpoint (s1e1). Technically we are only talking about the first half because the first TNG episode was almost two hours (if you include commercials). We meet Captain Picard, Data, and a few other members of The Enterprise D, and we also meet one of the best villains(?) in all of Star Trek.
