  • 14. Don't Forget to Forgive You!

There's a lot of talk in these streets about forgiving other people which is true but I don't think we emphasize enough the importance of genuine self forgiveness. Those emotions of embarrassment, guilt, shame, failure, fear and anger can only be release when you decided to practice forgiving yourself.

Are you still in bondage because you haven't given yourself a "get out of jail" card? Have you ever thought about canceling your debt and giving yourself a do over? Nothing comes from being hard on yourself when you treat your relationship that didn't work like an everlasting punishment. Join me this week about what happens when you don't forgive yourself and two things you can do today to start making self forgiveness a practice.

Running from your problems is a race that you will never win.

In this season of the coronavirus pandemic, it's causing everyone to pause and slow down. From events being cancelled, schools closing, people telecommuting, to even bars and restaurants being closed, being able to "occupy" your time has become limited.

Even though this current situation has adjusted the way we're handling our day to day, it's also an adjustment for those who constantly stay "busy" to avoid their realities. When you keep going around the problems that keep appearing in your life, you will never give yourself a change to find a solution. It's during this time, where it's important to take advantage of this moment and face what you've never confronted. Join me this week as I have a conversation on the importance of facing problems.

      • 10. Why many fear what they want?

Can you believe that the fear of having something better scares people? Yes, getting and having something better is a fear for many.  It's almost as if living in misery has become so normalized that anything else seems abnormal. Divorce or even a relationship that has ended can create thoughts of fear, rejection, uncertainty and failure. These kind of thoughts can keep you in a season of your life that could last for months, years, decades or even a lifetime.  Operating from a place of fear puts limits on so many possibilities for you! It creates a mediocre life that you never wanted only to wish you would’ve lived a more fearless life later. Tune in on this week's topic "Why many fear what they want?"
