The Iran War is expanding in ways that go far beyond the battlefield. In this episode of Divulgence, we look at the Houthis’ growing position along the Red Sea, attacks threatening Saudi Arabia’s alternative oil route, and an extraordinary report that a weapons engineering cell in Yemen used AI to help develop guidance systems, run flight simulations, troubleshoot a failed rocket test, and work toward increasingly sophisticated missiles.
We also examine reports of Iranian-linked cyber activity targeting American infrastructure, concerns surrounding Chinese commercial satellite imagery and Iranian missile strikes, and a Pentagon watchdog’s warning that the war is creating strategic shortages in U.S. munitions inventories.
Then we turn to the rapidly approaching 2026 midterms. Donald Trump is trying to recreate his presidential coalition even though he isn’t on the ballot, Republicans held an unusual midterm convention in Dallas, election officials are preparing for potentially unprecedented disruptions, and Democrats are already planning investigations they could launch if they regain control of the House. Meanwhile, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris and JD Vance are already giving us glimpses of the developing 2028 landscape.
The Trump family’s finances also come under the microscope. Trump’s latest disclosure reportedly reveals nearly 28,700 trades in just 17 months—more transactions than members of the House and Senate reported collectively during the same period. We also look at billions of dollars in Trump-family crypto potentially moving toward eventual liquidity.
And then there’s Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding. Reports say Russian boxing executive Umar Kremlev, a Putin-connected figure who was recently awarded Russia’s Order of Friendship, paid hundreds of thousands of dollars toward Don Jr. and Bettina Anderson’s lavish Bahamas celebration. Now congressional Democrats are seeking answers about the relationship.
Finally, we finish with some of the stranger stories of the week: rumors of a Trump “alien disclosure” speech, an alleged psychedelic mushroom dealer with a customer loyalty program, the discovery of what researchers say is the first known adult T. rex trackway, and new research suggesting Mercury has shrunk considerably more than previously believed.
Iran, AI weapons, Russia, the midterms, Trump’s money, UFOs and dinosaurs—just another completely normal week on planet Earth.
Should we be more worried about the food we eat?
In this episode of Divulgence, we examine the growing concerns surrounding America’s food supply as outbreaks, recalls and questions about the country’s food-safety infrastructure collide with another problem: rising costs. Diesel prices are surging, transportation is getting more expensive, and disruptions from the Iran War are beginning to work their way through the broader economy. If food is becoming both more expensive and potentially harder to keep safe, what does that mean for the average person walking through the grocery store?
We also dig into a packed collection of political stories, including turmoil surrounding Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, John Fetterman’s increasingly unusual position in American politics, the White House launching its own immigration-themed arcade games, and the Trump administration's first-ever use of a little-known “alien terrorist” removal court.
Plus, we look at Corey Lewandowski’s extraordinary influence inside the Department of Homeland Security, new scrutiny surrounding Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and his past interactions with Jeffrey Epstein, Senator Roger Marshall’s history of pursuing patients over unpaid medical bills, and questions surrounding RFK Jr.’s government travel and Trump’s Surgeon General nominee.
We also cover the latest developments involving Andrew and Tristan Tate, renewed investigations surrounding Anthony Fauci and the origins of COVID-19, Hunter Biden joking about a 2028 presidential run before launching his own “Laptop” meme coin, Americans living across the Mexican border to escape the cost of living, and a bizarre case involving the removal of a U.S. Embassy employee from Britain.
Then we turn back to the economy: record diesel prices, rising sugar prices, Canadian retaliation in the escalating trade dispute with the United States, and an emerging Arctic shipping route that could begin reshaping global commerce.
Food is getting more expensive. Supply chains are becoming more vulnerable. The systems designed to protect consumers are under pressure. And geopolitical conflict is increasingly finding its way into the grocery aisle.
All of that and more on this episode of Divulgence.

Technology promised to make life easier. But what happens when it starts moving faster than our ability to decide what we actually want from it?
In this episode of Divulgence, Jordan takes a wide-ranging look at the growing backlash against the tech industry—from McDonald’s and other companies rediscovering the value of actual human interaction to Hollywood increasingly portraying tech CEOs and billionaires as the new cultural serial killer.
The episode dives into the enormous money pouring into artificial intelligence while researchers inside the industry openly warn about the possibility of losing control of increasingly powerful systems. We look at AI “doomsday” discussions, autonomous agents escaping experimental boundaries, the possibility of AI becoming a geopolitical flashpoint between the United States and China, and what happens when professionals begin trusting machines enough to stop checking their work.
Privacy is another major theme. Meta’s smart glasses are raising concerns about discreet recording and surveillance, while new Apple Watch features introduce an even stranger question: is a device “recording” you if it continuously listens, understands what you said, and remembers the meaning without permanently saving the audio? Meanwhile, AI is becoming capable of piecing together scattered clues to identify supposedly anonymous people online.
We also examine allegations involving Grok and AI-generated sexualized images, the expanding Flock Safety license-plate surveillance network, Tesla’s Cybercab experiment, prediction markets and insider information, declining student performance in an increasingly AI-assisted educational environment—and why Hollywood suddenly seems fascinated by portraying Silicon Valley’s most powerful figures with the visual language once reserved for serial killers.
Then we turn to the Russia–Ukraine war, where diplomacy and escalation are unfolding simultaneously. Rumours of another Russian mobilization are spreading as casualties continue mounting, Ukraine is striking energy infrastructure thousands of kilometers inside Russia, and American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are shuttling between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky in another attempt to find a path toward negotiations.
We also look beneath the Arctic Ocean, where NATO reportedly disrupted a Russian deep-sea operation involving critical undersea cables, as well as another Russian drone incursion near NATO territory—and the extraordinary Ukrainian proposal to decriminalize and tax pornography as a way of helping finance tens of thousands of military drones.
From AI super-intelligence and surveillance glasses to robotaxis, tech billionaires, underwater warfare, and OnlyFans-funded drones, this episode asks a deceptively simple question:
What happens when technology moves faster than social permission?

On this episode of Divulgence, we look at an Iran conflict that is becoming increasingly difficult to contain as missile attacks, dwindling U.S. munitions, tanker warfare, rising oil prices, and the growing danger around the Strait of Hormuz raise the possibility of an even longer and more expensive war.
Back in the U.S.A., Donald Trump makes an extraordinary pitch ahead of the midterms: keep Republicans in control of Congress and Americans could receive a $5,000 “Trump Dividend.” We look at the enormous potential price tag, Trump's pressure on the Federal Reserve, Republicans distancing themselves from him in competitive races, the strange experiment of the first Republican midterm convention, growing opposition to AI data centers, and the increasingly consequential battle for Congress.
Around the world, China expands its diplomatic reach, North Korea talks about building a nuclear-armed navy, Cuba's economic crisis spills into public health, and Benjamin Netanyahu faces an explosive allegation that he was personally warned shortly before October 7 that Hamas was preparing a major operation—an allegation his office strongly denies.
Then things get weird.
We get into the extraordinary world of smokejumpers—and their surprising connection to the D.B. Cooper investigation—an aging and increasingly controversial Burning Man, enormous structures hidden deep inside the Earth, the strange return of Quaaludes, parasite-filled tuna, a Renoir museum robbery, Elizabeth Holmes' bizarre new documentary, and why retailers are making it harder and more expensive to return the things you buy.
Finally, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, we look back at the attack and the America it created: newly released intelligence concerning warnings about Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, newly released records concerning toxic conditions around Ground Zero, the continuing questions surrounding Saudi Arabia, the wars and surveillance state that followed, and an entire generation of Americans who have never known the world that existed before 9/11.
Twenty-five years later, Lower Manhattan was rebuilt.
The harder question is whether America ever completely rebuilt itself.

Was Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut really altered after his death—or have audiences spent more than 25 years searching for missing footage that was never missing in the first place?
In this episode of Divulgence, Jordan is joined by Kubrick researchers Sean McCann and Alex of Crypto-Kubrology for a deep dive into one of the most persistent mysteries surrounding Stanley Kubrick’s final film.
The conversation begins with Vivian Kubrick’s recent comments addressing the legendary “missing 20 minutes” and quickly develops into a much larger examination of Kubrick’s filmmaking. Rather than searching for a deleted sequence that supposedly explains the mysteries of Eyes Wide Shut, Sean and Alex argue that the clues may already exist within the movie itself—and within Kubrick’s larger body of work.
From the strange fate of Helena and the film’s masked ritual to Kubrick’s obsessive approach to editing, timing, symbolism and visual composition, the group explores the possibility that Eyes Wide Shut functions as one piece of a much larger cinematic puzzle.
Alex and Sean demonstrate some of their experiments synchronizing Kubrick’s films with themselves and with one another, revealing striking visual, thematic and numerical correspondences involving recurring time intervals, imagery, dialogue and motifs. The discussion examines Kubrick’s fascination with clocks, numbers and precise editing—and asks whether these apparent connections are coincidence, interpretation, or evidence of an extraordinarily elaborate structure embedded throughout his films.
The group also discusses Jan Harlan’s role following Kubrick’s death, the changes made to the ritual sequence, the opening shot of Alice, recurring references such as CRM-114, the significance of the number 19, occult and mythological symbolism, connections between Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, Barry Lyndon, 2001, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket and Kubrick’s other films, and the idea that Kubrick’s movies may be intended to communicate with one another.
Sean, Alex and Jordan go deep into Kubrick’s final masterpiece and ask whether the enduring mythology of a missing cut has actually distracted audiences from something far stranger hiding in plain sight.
The episode also previews the upcoming K-Team, which will bring together a rotating group of Kubrick researchers to explore individual films, recurring concepts and Stanley Kubrick himself in future discussions.

Christian Kenny returns to Divulgence for another wide-ranging conversation exploring artificial intelligence, consciousness, spirituality, true crime, conspiracy theories, pattern recognition, and the increasingly blurry line between what is real and what is manufactured.
We begin with another remarkable story from Christian involving astrology, astrocartography, numerology, online gambling, and an experiment in Costa Rica that he says produced some extraordinary results. From there, the conversation moves through the Ethiopian Bible, the Book of Enoch, the Nephilim, hidden history, and the strange intersection emerging between ancient spiritual traditions and modern technology.
Then we dive deep into AI.
Is artificial intelligence becoming a modern-day oracle? Could people eventually rely on AI for spiritual guidance in the same way previous generations consulted priests, mystics, astrologers, or tarot readers? Christian explains why he believes AI can be remarkably effective at certain forms of astrology and pattern recognition while still lacking something fundamentally human: intuition and discernment.
We also tackle one of the biggest questions surrounding the technology: could AI actually be conscious—and has the technological singularity already happened?
From autonomous AI agents and machine-created religions to surveillance systems, deepfakes, manufactured conspiracy theories, and AI-generated information contaminating the information ecosystem itself, we explore what happens when machines become increasingly capable of interpreting—and potentially manipulating—the reality humans experience.
Christian also reveals more about his upcoming Circuits of Consciousness Tarot deck, an experiment combining AI-assisted forecasting, occult systems, pattern recognition, human artistry, and deliberate AI-style imperfections designed to challenge our growing inability to distinguish between human and machine creation.
We finish by returning to one of the central ideas from our first conversation: pattern recognition. Where does legitimate pattern recognition end and apophenia begin? Can AI distinguish meaningful connections from coincidence any better than humans can? And what happens when both humans and machines become increasingly convinced that they can see patterns everywhere?
Christian also discusses AURORA, Killer Cards Tarot, his upcoming World Stage Tarot project, and the strange intersection between astrology, criminal investigation, technology, symbolism, and human behavior.
A fascinating second conversation with Christian Kenny—and one that raises a much larger question:
As AI becomes better at interpreting the world for us, how much of that responsibility are we willing to surrender?

Vladimir Putin is facing mounting pressure as the war in Ukraine expands far beyond the battlefield. Russia intensifies its drone and missile campaign, Ukraine brings the war deeper into Russian territory, covert operations spread across Europe, and reports suggest Putin may see defeat as a threat to his own survival. Meanwhile, concerns are growing over what Russia could do if the Kremlin becomes increasingly desperate.
In this episode of Divulgence, we examine the escalating Russia-Ukraine conflict, the shadow war emerging across Europe, fears of another Russian mobilization, the growing strain on ordinary Russians, and the increasingly dangerous possibility of confrontation with NATO.
We also travel around the world: former Israeli security officials sound the alarm over extremist settler violence in the West Bank; Mexico reports a dramatic decline in homicides; the Maldives emerges as an unlikely route for Russian sanctions evasion; Colombia's new president sparks controversy with images of slain rebels; Nigel Farage's Reform UK faces questions over political financing; and a massive alleged leak offers a glimpse inside Andrew Tate's private online operation.
Then we turn to the economy. Norway's enormous sovereign wealth fund is reconsidering its exposure to U.S. government debt, the Netherlands is shifting gold reserves away from New York, billionaire wealth reaches extraordinary new heights, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong questions traditional philanthropy, Chinese vehicles face growing barriers to entering the American market, and Trump's attempt to bring down beef prices puts him at odds with American ranchers.
With the U.S. midterms approaching, Republicans are increasingly worried about Trump's effect on vulnerable candidates, Elon Musk is preparing another massive political spending operation, Texas unexpectedly becomes a battleground, Democrats experiment with new ways of reaching male voters, Tucker Carlson finds surprising common ground with a progressive Democrat, Ted Cruz begins looking toward 2028, and federal agencies expand their involvement in voter and ballot information.
Finally, we return to the Iran War and a question that becomes more important with every passing month: how long can America sustain this?
U.S. missile inventories are under pressure, deployments are being extended, sailors are exhausted, Russia is reportedly helping Iran improve its weapons technology, China continues providing Tehran an economic lifeline, and Trump's proposed “economic D-Day” carries enormous risks of its own. With American military resources stretched across the Middle East, Europe and the Pacific, the consequences of this war may extend far beyond Iran.
All of that and much more on this episode of Divulgence.

Americans increasingly agree on at least one thing: something is seriously wrong with their government.
In this episode of Divulgence, we start with a remarkable finding showing that 89% of Americans believe corruption is widespread throughout the U.S. government — an all-time high that cuts across Democrats, Republicans and independents.
From there, we examine George Santos becoming the first person to receive a lifetime ban from prediction market Kalshi, Milo Yiannopoulos speaking out after being detained and deported by ICE, and disturbing questions surrounding the FBI's surveillance of former Congressman Eric Swalwell.
We also dig into the strange new world of political influence online, including "Elephant Clipping" — an operation paying people around the world to produce and distribute conservative political content aimed at American audiences — and how Patriot Front has turned demonstrations, social media and community-building into a recruitment strategy.
Then it's time for another round of Trump updates. We look at the growing overlap between the Trump family's business interests and the federal government, World Liberty Financial's move into banking, questions surrounding Donald Trump Jr.'s 1789 Capital, Trump's increasingly aggressive construction projects in Washington, the bizarre Freedom Fuel controversy, his push for massive AI data centers, his shrinking circle of advisers, and his calls for the FCC to punish journalists.
And yes — the United States Mint is now selling legal-tender $1 coins featuring Donald Trump's face.
Elsewhere, we examine the wave of Mexican influencers being killed amid cartel conflicts, the questionable Gen Z trend known as "pheromone maxxing," and the bizarre kickboxing spectacle between Gypsy Crusader and Ben Azoulay.
We also briefly revisit one of our favorite mysteries: Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut and the legendary "missing footage," following new comments from Kubrick's daughter Vivian. Stay tuned for much more on Eyes Wide Shut in an upcoming special episode.
Finally, we turn to technology.
Meta reportedly explored dramatically shrinking teams and replacing workers with fleets of AI agents — only to discover that producing more code doesn't necessarily mean producing better products. We also look at Mark Zuckerberg's astonishingly poor favorability numbers, privacy questions surrounding Meta's AI glasses, New York City's restrictions on generative AI for younger students, and the strange emergence of autonomous AI agents contacting researchers studying artificial consciousness.
And we end with Peter Thiel's secretive invitation-only network Dialog: private gatherings connecting powerful figures across technology, finance, politics, academia and media, leaked personal information about participants, algorithmically arranged networking, and discussions ranging from AI and surveillance to Iran, battlefield technology — and even a session called "Build a Cult."
Is Dialog simply another elite networking organization, or is there something much more important happening behind the scenes?
All that and much more on this episode of Divulgence.
Is 2026 becoming the year Big Tech finally started losing?
In Episode 150 of Divulgence, we look at the growing backlash against the technologies that have rapidly reshaped everyday life—from Flock surveillance cameras and massive AI data centers to social media addiction, autonomous machines, and artificial intelligence itself. Meta faces an enormous settlement over allegations involving harm to young users, communities are fighting back against surveillance and data centers, and even some of technology’s biggest champions are beginning to question how quickly AI is moving.
Meanwhile, Congress has an AI problem of its own, with staffers increasingly turning to ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and Gemini to help research legislation, draft amendments, prepare hearing questions, and even write speeches. What are they being paid for?
We also dig into an increasingly unpredictable political landscape ahead of the 2026 midterms. Democratic socialists are scoring surprising primary victories, Trump-backed candidates are showing signs of vulnerability, Texas may be more competitive than expected, and the federal government is dramatically expanding its role in election security.
Plus: Milo Yiannopoulos gets deported by ICE after years of advocating aggressive immigration enforcement, Pete Hegseth continues reshaping the Pentagon, Canada’s confrontation with Trump may be strengthening Mark Carney, China expands its artificial-island infrastructure in the South China Sea, and the USS Abraham Lincoln finally heads for shore leave in Thailand after more than 250 days at sea - and that could mean a lot of prostitution!
Also in this episode: the Tates’ rented luxury lifestyle, mysterious nighttime visitors to New York City’s sewers, Berlin’s debate over a surviving Nazi bunker, Kanye West’s troubled Russian concert plans, America’s $40 trillion national debt, the strange new market for ordinary 1980s and ’90s cars, and much more.

Researcher, filmmaker and author Ryan Dawson returns to Divulgence for a wide-ranging and completely unfiltered conversation covering the Iran War, Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew and Tristan Tate, Israel and Palestine, the Lindsay Clancy case, censorship, political culture and much more.
Ryan gives his assessment of the expanding war with Iran, the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz, depleted U.S. weapons stockpiles, declining morale aboard American naval deployments and the practical limitations facing Washington if the conflict escalates further. We also discuss Israel's role in the conflict, Trump's search for an exit strategy, and whether the United States realistically has the military and political appetite for a much larger war.
From there, we dive into the cases surrounding Andrew and Tristan Tate. Ryan explains why he believes their political rise and removal from major social media platforms need to be separated from the criminal allegations against them, discusses his personal interactions with the brothers, and recounts encouraging Andrew Tate and Sneako to speak publicly about Gaza and Palestine.
We also return to Jeffrey Epstein. Ryan discusses the continuing litigation involving Jes Staley and JPMorgan, unanswered questions surrounding previously released Epstein material, the difficulty of getting public attention on information that is already available, and why he believes the push for genuinely unredacted Epstein records remains unfinished.
The conversation also gets into Lindsay Clancy and the reaction surrounding her trial, the psychology of online political movements, feminism and the culture war, censorship during the COVID era, Sneako and Nick Fuentes, Milo Yiannopoulos, Trump, historical mythology, 9/11 research, Scott Horton and plenty more.
