World Health Organization has adopted its first-ever global pandemic agreement, aiming to improve preparedness and ensure fair access to vaccines and treatments through a new Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing system. While 124 countries supported the treaty, the United States notably opted out, raising concerns about global cooperation. The agreement will take effect once ratified by 60 nations.
