We're talking about overcoming sales slumps or business slumps, and we've talked about a few things to use, ideas to use to overcome those. First of all, don't panic, start from the beginning and figure out where the problem is, and then build confidence. You know, taking those small layups to get back to three-pointers for jump shots, utilizing music or eating healthier food, high protein type food, taking a walk, doing exercise, pumping iron, listening to that music that can get you rocking and rolling, using animals as comfort or de-stressors. Like, all those things are great ways to help you begin to remove yourself from the slump. One thing I love to do, and I like to do this on a daily basis, not even in a slump, but is to write. Write down things that are on your mind. Write down things you're trying to accomplish. Write down your goals. I just recently changed the goal for our company for the next 24 months. You know, it's one of those big, hairy, audacious goals. Every time I write that down, every time I look at what it is that I'm trying to accomplish, man, it gets me excited, gets me jazzed up, gets me thinking about what that success is going to look like. So the things that I have to do to be able to fit into that success. When you write, you can, you know, especially trying to get out of that slump like put down the things that are frustrating you or annoying you, and then, you know, just, just rant, like vomit, get your feelings out. Then go back and look at that and identify the things that you have the power to change. That's our problem as humans, we want to change sh*t that we don't have any power to change. And so we battle against the things that aren't fair, the things that are working against us instead of battling against things we can f*cking change. You might not be able to change somebody else's mind, but you can remove yourself from that person, but we have to be willing to see what we can and can't change. And then once you figure that out, create a plan on how you're going to make a change with the things that you can impact and begin to feel success, begin to see success, begin to climb out of the slump, and as you're climbing out of that slump and your emotions change, everything begins to change for the day, the week, the month, you definitely DMN8 the day.
