I’m sorry if this seems scattered and doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t make much sense to me either, but I have to
write this down somewhere so someone knows what happened in case things get worse. I’m not sure how that could
happen, but after what I just experienced I’m not sure what to expect anymore. I’m not sure how to begin this so I
guess I’ll just start at the beginning.

These dark dense corridors can allow for anyone or anything to travel without being
noticed, unless you happen to be looking for it, or perhaps it crosses your path and what
happens when that crossing takes place is well, quandary in its self. The River Ape, a kin to
the Sasquatch or Bigfoot, unlike with his woodland cousins or the Wood Ape of the Kiamichi’s. The river ape is shy, it doesn’t call or howl or it does very seldom does, but when pushed by natural stresses, much like any wild animal, its hunger can be dangerous to humans!

“It Can’t Happen To Me.” We’ve all thought it at some point in our lives. We see something on the news, some terrible tragedy, and think to ourselves: “Not me. That could never happen to me.” Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but it can. Mine wasn’t a news report, though I have thought it then too, but while watching some scary movies, a creature feature. It wasn’t the usual way of thinking the phrase though. I didn’t think such things could happen to me because my life was too boring for such things. I thought I’d never have something, so exciting, happen. Oh, how I wish I could take it all back!

Justin was all but lost on a abandoned industrial area. The sounds of large beings with shuffling gaits approached and the moaning, hissing breaths grew louder and the odor more pungent. At least some of the stench came from these…Two? Three? More? Things! His mind gibbered, back on the verge of panic. Then the eyes glinted and flashed. They were large and obviously belonged to nocturnal creatures.

You probably don't know what that is, and I wouldn't blame you either, since it's a name I came up with. We came across one of them one night while hiking in the woods behind my house. I have lived here for years, but always avoided the woods until recently.

There was no moon this night, just stars and high clouds and if it wasn’t for the light bar on the front it would be driving into total darkness, we hardly said a word. on the way over to the spur, it was just a hell of a night to enjoy the lake, the night and the sound of the engine. But Soon That Tranquility was shattered by a large Unknown Beast!
