Nellie joins us and Pete cajoles him into revealing the secrets of spinach and Vegetable Thali’s before Nellie drags Pete back to the football, Kevin Jackson joins us from North of the Border querying the attendance when there appeared to be many empty seats and talk about players who have started at a club but improved over time.

Rob joins us and heralds the enjoyment to be had at non league grounds having seen his local club Racing Club Warwick (Ben Foster’s former club) and doubts that we will see youngsters introduced this season as TC is trying to win games as it is his audition, Twitter goes all a bit strange and we talk to Jason Rose then Rob again etc…. and we discuss the 1881 singing section and what more could be done once again to improve the atmosphere and support inside the ground

We catch up with Mal and the North West Express along with Harvey who was attending his first game at the Vic!

After a more than disappointingly dull game versus Preston where neither side appeared to turn up we pour over the performance and the position the club currently sits in with no threat of promotion or relegation – plus we talk a lot about food – which says a lot about the lack of incident during the afternoon.

Mike shares his thoughts on Rajovic and Wedding Food tasting, Justin joins to talk about a steward chasing a balloon, Uncle Ron comes on and debates with Peter what was worse home form – the current season or that 11 game losing streak in the Premier League! Ron asks - where is the club currently going.

Wendover joins us to talk about takeaway curry, eggs and spinach before Alan’s thoughts are that Wendover bottled it – describing Greg’s Dhansak (the George Graham of curries) as the “Chris Wilder” option having promised something new and then gone for the tried and tested! Alan is also quite unsure as to how to take a compliment from Uncle Ron!

Justin and Pete chat with Dave from the "Blue Monday" podcast about Ipswich Towns last two seasons, a manager that will presumably poached at some point but doing just fine for the moment thank you! The squad still mainly intact from a promotion winning campaign from League 1 has been supplemented with a few January window loans giving the manager in game options and we discuss how this combination has helped see Town have a second straight campaign of success getting points and goals from substitutes (including some who Watford may or may not have been hoping to bring in) ! We take time to disparage Crystal Palace before looking at the domino effect of manager movement in the Premier League and asking why Sarmiento has Pete's Nan's hair!

We introduce Dave to Prediction league where John includes a dump truck and farm theme and Jarvis wrangler finally makes an on screen appearance! Carl is off getting drunk at an award ceremony but makes time to give us his prediction (presumably towards the end of a victorious evening!).

Finally Justin's somewhat disappointing local attraction segment shows signs of life including the Hilly Ridges of Suffolk, the collective noun for alpacas, Brown Bears, Justin's continued dislike of Ely City and all whilst Pete keeps banging on about a character from 1970's sit-com "Porridge"!!

A performance we would have taken at any point this season and a result we would all have taken before the game, however at 2-0 up you have to have a look at how the game gets away from us and ends in a draw. As ever fans balance out views and opinions and some put a large percentage of the blame on one player but others are of the view that we win, draw and lose as a team and that for the second game running our first choice strikers when removed leave a gap in terms of restricting the opposition from getting back into the game. Whatever your view if you wish to voice your opinion on your team then you are welcome to do so - no one is obliged to agree, disagree or comment - this is a conversation not a conversion.

Most seem really pleased with Tom and the direction the team is going in some want him full time, others say "lets take our time" and see how things progress - but no one is unimpressed with the change in dynamic coming from the team - well done Tom - fingers crossed it all continues as impressively as it has started. Plus we get to find out what is going on with the Scottish Premier League when it splits in two and how good are the goalkeepers north of the border!!

The general happiness continues with Pete and Alan going off on one of their meandering discussions on all things football from St Albans to Vicarage Road to the play offs and Alan being very happy that his neighbours in Leicester are having a hard time!!! Blue Cheese Brett wondering why everyone isn't as delighted as he was prior to the game at the Clevs appointment - he recounts a conversation with Carl that only those two could have!!! Clevs first game at home and despite an 85th minute equaliser (almost) everyone is in good spirits having seen a "front footed" performance against a top of the table team. The undoubted good will towards the current interim manager see some call for or at least be well dispositioned towards making it a permanent appointment. Wherever you are, it feels like most have been heartily impressed by how TC (which also now stands for Top Cat apparently) has conducted himself so far whilst in the hotseat. In other news we finally clarify what days Wendover goes dogging!!
