We chat about the revelations in the "Wobbly Obs" from William Troost-Ekong (who we still think shouldn't have ducked!!), Pete and Justin squabble over Boothroyd (yet) again as Justin suggests he might be our second greatest manager ever! We advance to the second stage of the Subbuteo competition and Carl throws his toys so far out of the pram that they resemble a shot by Andre Gray.....speaking of which! Finally we get onto the touchy subject of redesigning and decolourizing dealing with the England shirt and Coldplay in one (rather sweary) fell swoop!!.

Other subjects include 12th century Genoa and what Stafford Phil is called when he's in Stafford and the two laws in Pete's house!

Part Two sees us examining Maps and Lloydinho goals before finding out about both players representing Jamaica and the issues with altitude, rivalries, odd refereeing and heat playing against some big footballing names in the CONCACAF area.

The lads choose their best 5-a-side from their playing colleagues – neither choose many defenders and the Maps makes a late sub!!!

Pete thinks that a time to pilot a feature is when we have two legends in attendance by trying to recreate “Player In Focus” questions from Shoot magazine (presumably available in the 1970’s!). We cover cars, player favourites and “Come Dine with me” guests!

Needless to say. we meander all over the place along the way.

We chat with Adrian Mariappa and Lloyd Doyley about how they started their careers at Watford “Centres of Excellence” that turned to Academy set ups during their formative football years. Tales of determination, setbacks and fighting back to keep progressing both their individual games as well as their journey to first team football are lessons that todays aspiring footballer could do well to listen to.

The importance of seeing the pathway to the first team & how reserve team football was the perfect stepping stone to, eventually first team football. We find out which players was “dropped” for Lloyd’s debut!

We go through the “1 in 10” of Assistant Managers at Watford and we get to find out with former Assistant Manager might be considered “harsh” – its probably not who you think. We get to understand a little bit more about the position that supports the team as well as the manager.

After the Opposition View we just kept chatting about things and went from one subject to another. Carl has a fractured skull and has recently been in a coma but Justin and Pete have no such excuse! Questions from X or Twitter were discussed, the social media turmoil of the last few weeks came up and Pete went off on one again, Protest scarves, Indian, Mangalese and Persian food preferences, what is the vegetable that goes into Mogo, pool diving and the Premier League finance deals came up plus would GT survive the Pozzo era.

Tom Cleverley is set to lead the team as the Hornets travel to St Andrews but we talk to Sam from Blues Focus to hear about a season that has involved John Eustace, Wayne Rooney, Tony Mowbray for a fortnight (Get well soon Tony btw), a takeover involving an appearance from Tom Brady and Jay Stansfield!

The prediction league sees Jarvis learn to talk and John go very Sci-fi on us - and then he starts SINGING!!! Justin is for throwing in the towel but is forced to continue - begrudgingly and then accuses Peter of skullduggery!!!

The local attraction segment is a triumph as we find out that "custard" can be added to the list of things that Justin disapproves of and we take the piss out of Carl's so things are back to normal!!

Pete talks to Helen an artist who specializes in bespoke Subbuteo players via a "whatsapp" voicemail chain about her work and Justin and Pete wonder all over the place (again!) remembering Subbuteo, defunct toy Watford shops, Cigarette lighter and ashtray combination sets, Egg Flip and Soda water dispensers!!!

Pete comes up with an overly elaborate plan for a competition (at least it doesn't involve dogs for once thank goodness!) for listeners to help select the kit and player for a unique piece form Helen to design and us to giveaway!!!
