James Paxton continued the streak of rough starts for Dodgers pitchers falling behind 3-0. But the bullpen came in to silence the Tigers from there. Freddie Freeman Homered snap out of a slump and get the Dodgers on the board. An Andy Pages RBI single made it a one-run game. Then in the 8th Teoscar Hernandez tied the game singling home Will Smith . On to the 9th tied at 3  Shohei Ohtani ripped a ground rule double to center scoring Chris Taylor who had singled to right for the game winning run.
