Dodgers had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs in the first and came away empty which was a huge missed opportunity. In the bottom of the first Pete Alonso hit a 3 run homer on a pitch from Flaherty that wasn't bas, it was foot off the ground and Alonso hit 432 ft. The Mets posted 5 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th to make it 10-2. The Dodgers narrowed the gap a little thanks to Andy Pages who hit 2 home runs Mookie made it a 4 run deficit but that would be as close as it got. 12-6
