Clayton Kershaw started for the first time this season. He seemed to have pretty good command of his off-speed stuff. He would give up 4 consecutive hits in the 3rd but then struck out the side. His day would come to an end after 4 innings, 6 strikeouts and 72 pitches. The Dodgers had the bats working 14 hits in all 7 from the bottom 3 in the line-up Kike Hernandez had 3 and 2 each from Austin Barnes and Nick Ahmed who hit the go ahead home run in the 8th, his first as a Dodger. Shohei Ohtani also went deep in the 8th his 31st , and Gavin Lux stayed hot going 2-3 with 2 runs scored as the Dodgers win the series 3-1 with the 6-4 win.
