Billy Crystal is a psychiatrist. Robert DeNiro is a mobster who has panic attacks. Together they make mental health and murder go together. And yes, the plot here is the same premise as the beloved HBO TV show, The Sopranos which also premiered in 1999. Coincidence? Who knows. The boys aren't going to analyze that. They are going to analyze this.

Did you know polyester is derived from petroleum? Were you aware it's wrinkle and shrink resistant? It's also bad for the environment and releases microplastics? What's that got to do with this movie that's a parody of melodramas from the 1950s? Nothing. But this is the boys first John Waters movie for the pod. They're joined by John Waters fanboy Mark Cannistraro to further the conversation.

In heaven everything is fine but can the same be said for this movie? This is the story of a man who knocks up his girlfriend and enters an unhappy marriage. The twist? The film is directed by David Lynch so nothing about it is that straight forward. Join the boys as they discuss.

Mel Gibson, Hollywood's version of Elon Musk, stars in this movie about a man who loses his faith and then gets it back. Of course, he loses his religion for the same exact reason he had one. Because the script says so, that's why! Join the boys as they discuss.

The first kind is unidentified flying objects. The second kind is finding some sort of physical evidence. But this? This is the third kind. And those aren't the answers the boys need. The answer they need to know is if this movie still works.

Dead John Hughes pops in from Hell to answer some questions then the boys discuss this hit from the late great Canadian comedian, John Candy. That's right, the star of today's film was from America's new axis of evil, Canada. Oh, how the world has changed since 1989.
