This month in The LOE Collective we are talking about VISIBILITY! More specifically, how to make yourself visible through pitching yourself for different media opportunities. One of the best ways to be introduced to a wider audience is to be a guest on someones podcast, do some guest blogging or land speaking opportunities. All this month we'll be sharing tips here on the podcast and on Instagram for how you can make yourself and brand more visible. Of course, in the membership community we'll be diving deeper with weekly exercises, conversations and tips from the pros! To learn more about becoming a member of the LOE Collective, head to joinloe.com

So this week we're focusing on storytelling. When it comes to pitching yourself, especially if you're looking to get interviewed, most podcasters or writers want you to be able to clearly articulate your story or personal journey. Meaning explaining the key experiences that have led you to where you are today. Many people think that a good story has to be dramatic or bring people to tears, but honestly it just has to be clear and also connect with the audience you want to attract. So today im sharing few tips that will help you to pull your story together.

  • EP 111: Building A Business That Fuels You Instead of Draining You

Last year I decided to completely tear down what was working in my business to step into the unknown and create an entirely different business model.

I did this because, the business that I was building was completely draining me. I had great clients that I loved working with but trading that much time for money was exhausting. Not to mention all of the marketing strategies that I was trying to keep up with I no longer connected to.

So I literally stopped what was bringing me in a good chunk of income to launch what is now The LOE Collective, our membership community for women entrepreneurs.

And I no longer feel drained. And I no longer feel like the work i’m doing is forced. While it is def still work and there are still days where i would rather stay in bed. Making the shift from running a business that drains me to One that fuels me has literally been one of the best decisions that I’ve made.

So today I wanted to share with you how to do the same, how to build a business that fuels you instead of drains you. This is for you if you're just getting started and it's definitely for you if you've been feeling like a shift needs to take place.

  • EP 109: How To Turn Your Service Offering Into Two Different Digital Products

So all this month in The LOE Collective we have been talking about passive income and the ladies are working to create a small digital product that they can launch to their audience by the end of the month. As someone who used to provide 1:1 business coaching, I know first hand how important it is to have passive income. Or at the very least a digital product that doesn't necessarily depend on me to constantly show up.

If it wasn't for passive income, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy vacations when i was coaching. And I definitely wouldn't have been able to spend several months on maternity leave. Don’t get me wrong, coaching was an incredible opportunity that allowed me to not only see just how much I was capable of making as a business owner (the money was good ya’ll) but it also helped me to get a better understanding of what my audience needed. But it did feel good to be able to take a break from coaching every once in a while and not have to worry about how i was going to bring in money.

I often tell my clients to start out with offering a service because of some of those very reasons. A better understanding of your client and also the consistent income. But i also recommend it bc once you can nail down your process, you can then turn that service into multiple different products. Which in return allows you some flexibility in your session schedule, increases your income and also meets your audience where they are. Not everyone may be able to afford your high end service at the moment but being able to give them a few other options is a great way to serve those who may not have it in the budget to work with you but still need your help.

So in this episode i’m going to share with you a super simple process for taking your service and turning it into 2 different types of digital products!

  • EP 108: Creating Events That Convert with Lauren Caselli

This week on the podcast I chat with business coach and event planner, Lauren Caselli. Lauren owns a strategic event planning and marketing firm that provides digital entrepreneurs, mid-sized tech companies, and venture capital firms with streamlined, done-for-you solutions for their most important gatherings, product launches, and in-person, client-facing experiences. Lauren also is the founder of the 8-time sold out Boss Lady Bash, a community event for female small business owners, that incidentally didn't make her any money off of ticket sales, but got her tons of new clients, which just goes to show you that even experts struggle with profitable events sometimes.

In this episode Lauren and I chat about how her journey led her to curating events, her decision to also help entrepreneurs create profitable events through her courses, she shares how she is managing her business and money during the current pandemic and her advice for anyone who may be thinking about curating their own events.
