On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Podcast, Mike and Tom are back with another episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast. On today's show, they talk about the ESPN report from Sunday morning stating the Dolphins likely won't use the franchise tag on superstar defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, and Wilkins will be a free agent on the open market. We discuss if Miami is making a mistake in not using the tag, did they make a bigger mistake in not locking Wilkins up long-term a year or two prior, and if Wilkins leaves, what kind of void that will leave on the defensive one and the team overall. They discuss the report that Robert Hunt is looking at a market of $16+ million a year. Does Miami have any chance of re-signing him? Another report from ESPN states Miami is a team to watch to possibly trade for superstar cornerback L'Jarius Sneed from the Kansas City Chiefs. Should Miami part with draft picks to land the young, talented cornerback and break the bank to pay him? All this and more is on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast.

On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Podcast, Mike and Ian are back with another episode talking about the latest in the world of the Miami Dolphins. They open the show with a special guest, Lisa, or how she is better known as Finatic1972, on Twitter. Lisa recently raised over $50,000 for the Dolphins Challenge Cancer event that took place over the weekend. We talk about her involvement with the DCC and her goals moving forward in helping bring awareness to the DCC. Then we talk football, and with free agency a little over a week away, Mike and Ian discuss if Miami should sign running back Derrick Henry, who has expressed interest in coming to the Dolphins. Do the Dolphins need him? Would this be a wise signing? Is Mostert and Achane enough, and could the money be used wisely somewhere else instead? The guys break it down. Then they talk about the Xavien and Ogbah releases and what should be Miami's priority entering free agency. All this and more is on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast.

The Miami Dolphins have fired their opening salvo this offseason by announcing last week the release of Emmanuel Ogbah and their plan to cut avien Howard with a post-June 1st designation on the first day of the new NFL league year.
The moves free up some space for the Dolphins to maneuver around the new salary cap, set at just over 255 million dollars. With those decisions made, what lies ahead for the rest of the Dolphins' pending free agents? Aaron and Josh are back to discuss what the Dolphins may choose to do with Deshon Elliott, Brandon Jones, Robert Jones, Kendall Lamm, and Nik Needham.
