We take pictures when we want to capture something amazing that's happening.
But often, the act of taking a picture takes us out of experiencing what it is that we are trying to preserve.
In this podcast, I'm sharing a new technique that I've been using to become more present, aware, and mindful - which is leading me to generate more happiness in my life because this method is allowing me to call up memories, sensations, and feelings when I desire them.
Imprinting.
Have you ever wanted to be more present? In this podcast, I'm introducing you to the idea of imprinting, and how you can do it so that you can create more joy in your life

If you’re a woman in midlife who wants better health without obsessing over weight, you’re in the right place. I’m Elizabeth Sherman, a life and health coach and host of the Total Health in Midlife Podcast.
After coaching hundreds of women, I know the real problem usually isn’t “not enough information” – it’s too much of it, and not knowing where to start. With close to 300 episodes, this show can feel that way too.
To make it easy, I created a free Listener’s Roadmap that helps you figure out which episodes are right for you right now. Tell me what you’re struggling with – low energy, emotional eating, stress, sleep, exercise, or all of the above – and I’ll point you to a curated path of episodes and resources to get you moving.

Since the pandemic, we've been hearing a lot about trauma. It can feel confusing because for many of us, we were raised by parents who didn't believe that they had the luxury of being able to deal with it. As a result, many of us were told that we 'should get over it' or that we needed to grow a thicker skin. That we were being too sensitive.
In this podcast, I've invited Denita Bremer to talk about how to identify and heal trauma, so that you can live the life that you desire, and have a better relationship with yourself and others.
About Denita Bremer
Denita Bremer is an intuitive trauma coach, helping women process emotions on a deep level. She draws upon several tools in her coaching, including mindset, knowledge of the nervous system, intuition and spiritual tools, and most importantly, the relationship between her and her client. Denita loves living near Denver, Colorado with her family.

In this episode, I'm sharing how you can use sleep routines to create better sleep that's deeper and more restful, more consistent sleep, and that can allow you to use the hours that you sleep as a way to get a jump on your day - setting you up for success.
Following the strategies that I'm teaching in this podcast episode, you'll start your day with purpose instead of trying to play catch up - which then allows you to feel more in control and that you are running your life instead of your life running you.

On the podcast, and in coaching with my clients, I talk a lot about concepts, tools, and how to use them - sometimes in theoretical situations, or in practical ones that we've all encountered.
Some of the concepts and tools overlap, and I think it can be difficult to put it all together. In this episode, I'm sharing my real life with you & how I use and apply the tools I teach.
Listen in!

Do you dread the age old question: What do you want to have for dinner?
It's enough to drive anyone crazy because no one in your family (who you're polling) is any help, yet they're long on feedback when dinner's about to be served.
I coach on this a lot with my clients - you're not alone.
On today's podcast, I'm interviewing Allison Schaaf, the creator of PrepDish, which is similar to the meal delivery kits, but not. It's super affordable, value packed, and easy.
On our episode today, we're talking all about meal prep - how to get organized, how to plan your meals, what to do ahead of time, and everything that you need in order to feel like you have a handle on yours and your family's nutrition.
Listen to today's podcast to learn more about how to get a handle on that dreaded question & she even has a free gift for you. But you have to listen to find out what it is!
About Allison Schaaf:
Chef & Dietitian Allison Schaaf is the founder of Prep Dish, a gluten-free, paleo & keto meal planning service that helps busy moms get dinner on the table with ease. Allison holds a Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University, a Master's Degree in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University, and became a Registered Dietitian at New England Medical Center.
During her years in culinary school, Allison spent time honing her skills as a chef, working at renowned health spas, Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires and Champneys in Tring, England.
After grad school, Allison then moved on to work with the Almond Board of California, sharing the health benefits of almonds with health professionals around the globe. But she knew pretty quickly that her true calling was as an entrepreneur so she packed her bags and moved to Austin, TX to start a personal chef business, a career she had fallen in love with during her high school summers.
In 2009, Prep Dish: Personal Chef was born.

A phrase that has been popping up for me recently has been, "who you are becoming is far more important than what you are doing. And yet, it's what you are doing that is shaping who you are becoming."
You can't change your past. However, you can actively shape who you desire to be. Your past experiences do not determine what you can accomplish in life moving forward. We can change who we are becoming - and chart out a future that we want instead of letting the choices of the day determine our future.
In this super vulnerable episode, I've started a project where I'm publicly stating my goals for the next 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 5 years, and 10 years - and then as those milestones come to pass, I'll reflect on how things have changed, what I learned, and who I had to become in order to accomplish the goals that I set out for myself.

In order to move forward, we need to make peace with our past. It happened. However, we view our past through the lens of our present self. As a result, our past changes.
Maybe the actual events of the past don't change, but how we view and think about our past experiences can change as we look at the events through our current circumstances.
In this super vulnerable podcast episode, I'm writing letters to the past versions of myself, explaining to her what's happening and why, and then what to look forward to. I'm telling her how I really feel about what she's been doing, forgiving her for the mistakes that she's made, and showing her how incredible her life is going to be.
