If you ask retailers, the message of Christmas is shop, shop, shop. If you ask credit card companies, the message of Christmas is charge, charge, charge. If you ask a student of the Bible, the message of Christmas is “God is with us.” Jesus came not only to be born in a manger but to give His life on a cross for our sins.
