The third last episode of the poddy has been years in the making as Liv, Huw and Jeremy convene to discuss their friendship through the countless bad films they have endured together. With Jeremy’s encyclopaedic cataloguing of movies, he has created a trivia gauntlet for the Talkie Boiyz to navigate, testing them on their knowledge of the complete schlock they’ve consumed over the last six years.

Then, to cap off this mountain of mediocrity, they face The Best of The Worst Gauntlet as they run through a cornocia of cinematic crap to figure out which is the most enjoyable. Ranging from the many police personas of Sly Stallone, a few unhinged Nic Cage performances, getting pulled from your duck dimension, a person believing they are a honeybee and a spaceship shaped like an electric guitar, they’ve watched it all so you don’t have to!

Liv takes the reins and sets up our Talkie Boiz for a rather competitive conversation in this week’s episode. Each of our Boiz has been given a set of rules that will earn them points if they manage to steer the conversation in a certain direction. Tune in to hear the Boiz passionately argue about what species Goofy is, what kind of uniform was left over at the local film studio’s costume auction and why words that start with the letter “V” are the worst.

For this week’s episode, Josh takes over hosting duty just in time as he receives a threatening/quirky letter from an anonymous source proclaiming to have taken a fellow Talkie Boiy hostage. With Jeremy by his side, Josh attempts to meet the elaborate and whimsical demands in order to get their friend back. In the process they’ll discuss the correct serving of snakes, a single glit, the most expensive letter in the alphabet, where eggs come from and Jeremy’s ode to belly button lint.

I have been hired to look into the financial state of the Don’t Expect Anything Podcast and after an extensive investigation I have appeared on the show to reveal my grave findings to the so-called “Talkie Boiyz.” We discuss the outlandish charges on their company credit card, from funding eccentric strangers to importing foreign birds, Joshua, Olivia, Keegan and Jeremy face the full might of me, Robert Bag, as I undertake an audit to get to the bottom of their fraudulent ways.

Behold a truly unprecedented episode! Jeremy is absent today which means that Keegan surreptitiously sneaks in and takes over another episode... outside of his designated month!
