In your childless days, did you ever swear up and down that your kid would never have the TV as a babysitter? Or maybe you just shook your head at parents who had yet to potty train their one year old. Well now that you're a parent, you probably understand a little better why we use screen time to entertain the offsprings for a an hour or two. Or that potty training is super hard and as long as it's done before kindergarten, you don't care. Timeouts, taking away privileges, talking it out, or my fave...yelling. In today's episode we discuss the discipline methods that have worked (and the many that have not worked)  when dealing with our kid's less than stellar behaviour. There are probably better methods that would work better than just yelling all the time, but so far I haven't been able to find it...I envy you parents who can have a rational discussion with your kids about their actions.
