Lewis talks with Rosie Ferguson, CEO at House of St Barnabas, on a mission to break the cycle of homelessness.
The House of St Barnabas is a charity pledging to break the cycle of homelessness and social exclusion in London. Rosie speaks about the current issues around homelessness in the UK. She also talks about the social enterprise they run at the House of St Barnabas, a not-for-profit members' club, to support those back into lasting paid work through the "Employment Academy", a 12 week Employment Programme with a 360 approach, offering on-site work experience throughout our not-for-profit club and offices, accredited qualifications, skills training and personal development.
The House of St Barnabas is seeking to redefine the notion of a private members’ club, to challenge stereotypes around the idea of exclusivity and to create a different kind of membership.
