This week's show is hosted by Barra with appearances from regular panelists Max Bell and Marco Puliga and a special guest panelist appearance from Voice of the fans representative Eloise Nichols as we dive into the cupset defeat at the hands of Step 2 opposition Horsham, as the Iron are dumped out of the FA Trophy. The pitch gets a mention along with the disappointing performance. But all is not lost, as focus turns to the league as we continue to chase back to back promotions. Don't panic! It's still 50 up for Butler: You can read Ollie Wolley's interview here - https://theironhourpodcast.substack.com/p/50-wins-and-counting-butler-breaks
Our spy in the camp this week is Musical Shrimper Ollie Davies who breaks down Southend's recent performances, tactics and league positioning. Whilst the Iron may have shifted focus entirely to the league, the same can't be said for Southend who will face Horsham in the 1.4 final of the FA Trophy. We look back at the off field issues which have been a thorn in the side of the Shrimpers until very recently.
Our panel look ahead to that upcoming fixture and give their score predications as sponsored by the Unity Group!
A look back at all transfer and injury news and our FPL update as sponsored by the George Inn, Barton, who we thank for their £100 bar tab prize. Could it be you?
If you can, please join us for the Evie Maw Race night, raising vital funds for Sunflowers Action group. Tickets are only £10 and you get entry, pie and peas and a disco! £10!!! Please contact Karl Maw or any of us and we will put you in touch with Karl.
