Today’s guest is Anthony Dyer, a former U.S. Air Force Combat Special Missions Aviator who spent over a decade flying high-risk missions in some of the most dangerous war zones in the world.
During his service, Anthony was part of elite operations, including the 2018 Jolly Green Rescue Mission of the Year, where split-second decisions meant the difference between life and death.
But like many veterans, the battle didn’t end when the missions stopped. Returning home brought a different kind of fight — navigating trauma, addiction, and the search for purpose.
Anthony shares that journey in his memoir, “Moon Child,” a raw and unfiltered look at war, healing, and what it really means to rebuild your life after everything changes.
Today, we’re talking about the reality of combat, the invisible wounds that follow, and how to find meaning on the other side.
