Today on the show we're covering the very intuitive question of "What are thoughts and feelings?" The reason I ask this question is because it helps to know some version of what these concepts are. We think all the time, we feel all the time but do we really know what's going on? And how can knowing what's going on help with self-judgement? Let's break it down on this episode.

Today on the show I'm joyed by my lovely partner Molly (instagram.com/thedarlingrevolution) to talk about Animal Crossing and it's link to the practice of Ikigai, a way of living of a long life. We share some of our experience with Animal Crossing, how it's been helpful as a grounding process, helping us connect with our friends, and be productive while also redefining our relationship with rest.

Today on the show we're talking about the difference between truth and opinion as well as how this translates to the open internet, or as I like to call it...the open sea! We're going to use some pirate metaphors to talk about conflict on the internet in relation to truth and opinion.

Today we're talking about how we can even begin to make sense of the world. We're out here dealing with a Pandemic and all of the psychological challenges that come along with it. Where do we even begin with managing ourselves and having patience for others? I share my perspective on what it means to hold space for others and begin the process of understanding others' varying perspectives.

Today on DOPEamine we're talking about the importance of documenting your story. Each one of us has a unique story to tell, a story that is often driven by the context of our circumstances. Stories don't have to literally be words...they can be paintings, drawings, sculpture, etc. but they are relics of our time here on earth. Our stories are signals for our future selves and for future generations to know what to look out for, to not feel so alone, and seek guidance when lost in difficult times. While it's valid to move on and pretend that the CoronaVirus isn't something we need to address in the content we make, the stories we tell about our context is a (hopefully) once in a lifetime opportunity to share our personal experience and expression of the many contexts we get to experience in our lives.
Today on the show we're talking about how INTPs can handle some of the difficulties that recent times present. Stress is a big challenge for every personality type but each type tends to handle stress in different ways. Many can use that stress to harm or make other lives difficult or choose to use that energy to empower themselves and others. We're talking quite a bit about the drama triangle and the empowerment dynamic to encourage positive use of the INTP Introverted Sensing and Extraverted Feeling functions in times of crisis.

Today we're talking about how to begin using Myers-Briggs personality theory for therapy and coaching as either a patient or coach. Much of this episode is dedicated to self-assessment of personal needs in relation to every day forms of depression but it can also be helpful to use a language with your therapist to identify when certain needs are going unmet.
